Skittering Cave Spider Boss not spawning on Official 1977

Spider Boss isn’t spawning, yes there is a construction above the cave/boss area and no we can’t remove it nor is the owner willing, this unbelievable bug with the spawn point and the construction’s sphere of influence is over 2 (TWO) years old and there is no solution in sight nor apparently there is a will to fix it, a bug that is ruining the experience by affecting gameplay directly

Everyday there is a new boss inside the walls or the terrain, a spawn point broken, buildings breaking or disappearing for no reason leaving nothing behind, attacks that go through shield and armor, speedhack and item duping on Official Servers and so much more, instead of working on more DLC please focus on fixing the game

In this case, the solution is incredibly simple if the team is too busy, just have the Boss spawn point project a sphere of influence in big enough to protect it and forbid any construction

@Hugo @Ignasi - +1 to this being a bug, not a fixed issue.

Giglioti, this has been discussed many times before eg: https://forums.funcom.com/t/vertical-land-claim/120465

It was stated to be fixed in the 9 July patch.
@Spynosaur_Nicole clarified “The locations fixed are Barrow King, Galaman’s Tomb and Skittering Cavern but there are more locations planned in the future!”

I have just tested this on an official PVE server. I built on the ridge above Skittering Cavern and it despawned the spider boss.

Blocking of this boss may be against the official community guidelines. You could report them if they aren’t willing to budge and allow other people access to this boss.
