Loving this game, it’s brilliant and addictive despite many flaws. However, there’s no balance or regularity in content being released.
Art and 3D team are producing good stuff, but what about other things?
Regular dungeon(s) every 3 months?
Some dialogue lines?
Non-generic quests/objectives?
Animations to go with the new enemy spinning?
Tweaking aggro leashes for enemies in each specific location to make it less comical?
Aggro and chase distance for archers?
Purge pathing?
Why completely remove old purge that was more immersive for roleplaying and only leave the new “gamey” purge?
A bit more loot balance - higher tier loot in harder to reach places (which I heard was partially fixed recently, great!)
New dungeons make youtubers do an actual new playthrough and make players want to do the same.
The biggest spike in player numbers recently happened when Age of Sorcery came out, because nobody knew what it actually was, and the numbers wouldn’t be that high if people knew they’d just get a golem workbench. Updates after that have gotten less increase, because people now knew that “age of this and that” actually meant next to nothing.
The big spike before that happened with Siptah, and FC probably thought it was too much effort compared to what they got later with only a cool title.
Maybe make something in between, release a dungeon every 3 months to match all the cool stuff the art team are making.
