Some notes from March

This is just to note a few things I’ve observed in March 2021.

Thank you for fixing the teleporting Cimmerian priest Funcom! I’ve tried about a half dozen times to get the priest to teleport to the ground when leaving a knocked out npc there. So far the priest has stayed put.

After a long session of playing recently the Grave Walker and all the sword (1 and 2 handed) wielding giant bosses in the War Makers dungeon glitch up to where they were only doing single attacks. Kind of like the thrall issue everyone is talking about now.

Speaking of the thrall issue with weapons and only doing a single attack… my Relic Hunter Treasure Seeker that originally had a dagger and fire throwing orb in her inventory will not combo attack with any weapon that I tested her with so far. Even with daggers.

Dragging an unconscious NPC exile on a rope/chain while fighting seems to really glitch some enemies up in Single Player. It will also glitch my thrall up and say they cannot reach a very reachable spot when I command them to move. On a positive note, when I decided to attack the 2 skeletons guarding the stairs in the unnamed city, between the snake boss and the flame guardian, the one skeleton that normally is stuck in place actually moved and joined the fight. I thought I would mention this because it might be a clue to why thralls are getting stuck so much lately. It might not also. At least for enemies that get stuck it seems to indicate to me that the issue is somewhere in the coding for the AI.

There was no chest with the key necessary to enter the War Maker’s dungeon. Fortunately I didn’t need it. The game let me go through the door without one.

I haven’t been able to get any thrall to combo attack with the legendary one handed axe, the Festering one. I had thought this was something that only affected Dalinsia Snowhunter but I was wrong.

That’s all I can think of for now. If I think of more I will add them.

Keep up the good work Funcom!

Oh. I forgot to mention that I think there is an issue with food and healing buff for thralls. It’s been an issue for me for around a year now. So I decided to see what would happen if I removed my thrall pot and put it in a chest. So far the healing buff from food for thralls has come back without issue. This makes me believe that there is some kind of conflict going on between a placed thrall pot and food in a thralls inventory that removes the healing buff they’re supposed to get from the food.
