Some shortcut keys and binds no longer working

Bug Description:

Many shortcut keys and bindings no longer work, unsure if it’s intended or not. B no longer brings up player list, you can no longer go into build mode via shortcut keys. If intended I’d like to suggest it be reverted or have options to use hot keys or via settings.

Expected Behavior:

Hit B, have player list pop up, hit ctrl+alt+Delete+f10 to go into build mode.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Please be as detailed as possible; the more details, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Step 1 - log into conan
  2. Step 2 - Try to use B to pop up user list, or ctrl, alt, shift, f10 to go into build mode.

I’m not sure about hitting B for player list (that’s a key I rebound long ago) - but the build mode shortcut keys seem to have been removed when they added it as a toggle option in the admin panel (checkbox just below god mode). I’m not sure why the keyboard shortcut couldn’t have also remained, but at least the same mode is still available.

Did you, perhaps, uninstall the game completely and then reinstall it? I’m asking because my binding for that never went away, but I realized that not everyone has it, so I’m thinking that they removed it from the default bindings at some point.

At any rate, you can add it right back to your Input.ini file:

ActionMappings=(ActionName="TogglePlayersList",Key=B,bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False)

Fortunately, there’s a trick to add that one back, too. You can do it via the keybindings GUI:

Alternately, you can do it by editing your .ini files. Put the following line inside your Game.ini file:

Command1=NoBuildingCosts

If you’re already using Command1 for something else, then use Command2 or Command3 or whatever you’re not using yet.

Then put the following line inside your Input.ini file:

ActionMappings=(ActionName="Command1",Key=F10,bShift=True,bCtrl=True,bAlt=True,bCmd=False)

Make sure that the ActionName is the same key you used in Game.ini, i.e. if you used Command4 there, then use Command4 in this binding.

Bug Description:

Unable to go into fight stance mode using x unless a weapon or torch is equipped.

Expected Behavior:

Previous to recent changes, hitting x would put you into fight stance with your fists out, this is no longer possible. Aside from not being able to go into the general fists only stance, it also causes issues when trying to break out of emotes and walk setting quickly.

  2. Step 2 - Without a weapon or hand held item equipped hit x to go into fight stance with only fists(or to break an emote).

Hey there,

It seems the first issue was addressed already. Considering the second one hasn’t been reported recently, could you confirm it not happening in a vanilla version of the game? It is possible to have a conflict with any of the 21 games installed in your server that’s interfering with this feature in particular.
