Since Npcs have had Tiers and named npcs for a while, why is it that the summon circle does not have different tiers of demons and also named demons, when I watch lord or rings I see these large creatures attacking defenses, could have a tanky demon that can attack walls, that’s if you don’t want to offer sorcery Star calling
Perhaps you would have to harvest blood, blood crystals, sacrificial blood, black blood, and lots of meat. It might be the size of two walls high, you would build something like a Cairn stone and as the summoning progresses you see the glyphs light up all the pillars one by one from ground to high up, so you don’t have to look at the progress bar.
Which got me thinking about sorcery and those dang demon followers. Power requires sacrifice so how about when summoning demons, you give them ability points from your point pool of 60? Say…for every attribute point the follower get 100 HP, 20 Armor, 5% damage increase, and increased timer maximum by 5 minutes (still needs to be replenished by killing enemies).
For mounts, endurance total increase by 10, sprinting costs reduces by 0.2, and damage multiplier increases by 0.2.
Yeah, the sacrifice you’re making with the demon is you have to babysit the damn thing and no matter what it will eventually turn on you once you go too long without killing anything.
But while it’s still in your service it will shred just about anything you come across after you get it leveled up.
I’m still of the opinion that there should be some way to re-exert your control once the demon breaks free. Some sort of fetish you build in advance at the theumaturgy bench perhaps. So that when the demon breaks free you simply consume the felish and the dmeon is reset as if you’d just summoned it. Make the materials costly if you must like black blood, a sacrificial blood flask and a fragment of power for instance.
My personal headcannon for my character has her as a complete misanthrope so I hate having her run around with a human slave. Although it feels like the zombies got a little boost with the new patch so I might go back to my undead army.
Good idea, I was thinking that if a melee weapon makes a better melee fighter. Then shouldn’t the Arcane staff you have on your quick bar enhance you as a sorcerer, that means legendary arcane staff and arcane staff that at the very least buff your summons, and other offensive spells like lightning storm?
