Minor tweaks for sorcery

Ritual circle kind of like greater wheel where you have to fill it first but then you get all blood or all souls at once, from each one at once.

Demon weapons should retain the expire timer but the abyssal armour should be permanent until death, or swapping armour.

When your flying with bat maybe if you right click the bat will hover on the spot until you right click again so you can land better.

Summoning zombies from canopic jars you bring with you in your inventory.

Demon lord perk: It appears more often and lasts longer but will tank for you holding aggro.

After playing sorcery for a while now these would be the most welcome changes.

Truth be told I think demonic lord perk just needs to be that summoned minions no longer are on a timer and are in place until death. The perk, as is, is highly disappointing in that the creature is pathetic and then it starts attacking your own folks. Just give us the ability to summon otherworldly pets and they maintain their presence to defend/serve the Lord until death.

many have said similar, i would add that you should be able to toggle the perk on and off as you might only want the perk active when you have no other pet, it should also make the summoned demon permanently under your control.

Nice tweaks, but this isn’t enough.

Sorcery as it stands is in a place where it doesn’t add any substantial changes to core gameplay that significantly differentiate it from somebody who doesn’t use sorcery EXCEPT your stamina and life are incredibly nerfed. You’re still fighting in the thick of combat, you’re still taking the brunt of blows, only now you’re running for your life more often because you can’t take as many blows as a normal exile.

Spells need to be revamped, within thematic limits, to be useful immediately before or during combat. I’ve pushed for on-demand summoned weaker/temporary minions for ages now because a sorcerer should be burning through minions like crazy and to be stuck in the middle of nowhere without a minion is asinine. We should have combat buffing and debuffing spells to control the tide of fights for our allies and underlings. We should be able to manipulate the sand, snow, and rain to slow our foes. The forces of carrion and decay should be at our disposal to rot away our foes’ defenses. The excitement I felt from the sorcery reveal streams has faded into bitterness at the massive nerfs they’ve done since then. Several others have offered their insight and I agree: we have too many outright useless spells.

Demon Lord needs to be buffed. The demons summoned should be stronger even if they’re temporary. As a Demon Lord your minions should feed off your aura, meaning summoned minions and zombies benefit in a manner similar to Well Trained (like 50% of what Well Trained does and it should also affect the temporary ones summoned by the perk).

The current tradeoff isn’t pathetic, it’s an outright joke. We don’t even have finished corrupted attributes. Agility, Grit, Expertise are all untouched.

Sorcery doesn’t just need minor tweaks. It needs a wholesale revamp.

Yeah I was about to say… sorcery needs major not minor tweaks.
