I’m a fan of Robert E. Howard’s stories, specifically the way he illustrates sorcery and sorcerers. Role-playing as a sorcerer in Conan Exiles has satisfying immersive fidelity with the sorcery in Robert E. Howard’s stories. The game is my hobby. I’m interested in the sorcery lore, canon, gameplay, and role-playing. Are there others here that have the same or similar interests? What type of sorcerer character do you have? What do you like about the sorcery? What are some of your favorite moments in the game? What is your character’s story? Have you found the four pages from the “Book of Skelos” on the Isle of Siptah? Although like roleplay I play in official PVE so its not the best place for roleplaying even though in somehow I make my own roleplay there; I have 4 towers in my base one for each weather season a tribute to Demeter, the greek godness (my character name in game and here its her daughter) and also as a tribute to all those good players, friends I met during years in that server which helped me a lot in the beginning or when they would go for aid me, naked and blind in the Wine Cellar darkness everytime Thug would kill me.
In game I use sorcery and corrupted attributes even thugh actually only its profitable and useful to me for the TP’s and summoning my corpse when I die.
I like that epic music every time I fight bosses, I like cutting npc throats to drain the blood, kinda a revenge for my doomed life (hey, dont get me wrong!, I’m just roleplaying! 
).
My knowdledge about Conan’s world actually it circunscribes to the movies and some comics my bro had. He is a really Conan fan but hates gaming
A lot of possibilities and roleplay histories based on mitologhy could be made, just imagine even titan wars between Odin, Crom and Zeus acolytes!, all those mitology involved!. Lets the imagination flows!
Never found any Book of Skelos you are mentioning in Siptah, maybe in the future if I start a new game there again I’ll try to remember it.

Demeter is not a god during the Hyborian Age and the greeks did not yet exist. Do you RP in any way that is not anachronistic?
Yes, I found 4 pages from the Book of Skelos on the Isle of Siptah. They have what appear to be riddles on them that point to specific locations. I’m still trying to figure them out. I want to know what they point to and what could be discovered.

I like “sorcery research” and i know that i still haven’t revealed many of the secrets of it. I would be very interested to play with players that use main sorcery. I definitely look forward to play with @deadlokd in the future, he plays sorcery main also and he is a very special builder as well.

I have chatted with @deadlokd via the PlayStation Network. He knows of me. His Halloween build was awesome. I’m all about the sorcery. My cabal and I have 2 private servers and we all have fully corrupted characters. The RPG sourcebooks have a lot of encyclopedic information about sorcery. Do you have any of them (The Book of Skelos, The Secrets of Skelos, and The Scrolls of Skelos)?

I do respect that, you do very correct.
You don’t need to risk your server balance, meet me in any official server of exile lands and i will show you the way how to become a sorcerer only by using sorcery as weapon from lvl 0. In this process you will teach me your own secrets of sorcery and educate me please!

If it counts as type, i am a sorcerer that survive - kill - escape the lands.
Above all apologies for the delay, yes i would gladly discuss sorcery in here too.

If we did train I would find it very difficult to reveal my darkest secrets because someone wants to be a good sorcerer.
Im not saying your just like any other person online. I have chatted with you since last year. And in all your posts your reply’s seem genuine.
I challenge sorcerers in a way that makes them understand their power over knowing how to use it.
Because I believe the use of your power is where you actually create your sorcerer. Not by being told what works with what.
I’m really hope they fix the corruption affinity weapons. The DONT show the increase in damage the more corrupted you go. But the damage DOES register upon contact to enemy target.
The other awesome weapon was the only STRENGTH based katana that was then turned to agility.
But overall what is it that you seek to learn and what are you willing to give up to learn it ?

Yes, @deadlokd plays on official servers. You can learn a lot from him. I’ve seen videos of him doing some awesome things. He’s also really into the hobby and I haven’t seen him deviate from the Hyborian Age setting or standards with anything that is anachronistic.

Per the standards in the RPG sourcebooks and as presented in the canon, there are different types of sorcerers, varying by caste, archetype, and nature. A sorcery RP character has a story, a culture, strengths, weaknesses, specific skills, certain talents or capabilities, and a grand work or goal, as well as other characteristics that make an RP character unique.

This is true. I have also had the pleasure of chatting with @darkpower and I have seen many videos he posts.
The teleporter kill one had me dying
But it did look really cool. It was like you made him vanish and appear infront of you. And he if we had the heart grab fatality it would have been perfect.
But yes In the RP world depending how far down the rabbit hole you go. You begin to tailor your character and restrictions applied only make you think of how to survive. With what you possess. Fight or flight.
On official servers it’s different. There is No RP .
It’s kill or be killed.
I am constantly looking for new methods to increase my survivability, and am always trying different sorcery builds
I still get told Why the Hell am I running corrupted
But honestly I enjoy it so much I couldn’t imagine running around Nd not casting zombies near someone’s base walls while they crafting
It’s the challenges unique to sorcerers that excite me. It’s a very cerebral, having to think or reason beyond your adversaries in order to survive and defeat them. It’s amazing how the Funcom team was able to make the conditions that a sorcerer encounters in the game congruent to the canon.
I have considered accepting an invite to play on an official server or other server, but only under certain conditions (including no anachronism or inversion). The host sorcerer would need to have some things ready for me (specific resources, armor, and weapons). My interest would be to serve the role of a mercenary sorcerer (Disciple of Zar) for the host cabal master, attacking enemies and retrieving rare or powerful items… for a price. My price is high, but the host cabal master’s power and influence would be greatly amplified with my skill set at their disposal. I think it could be a good RP experience with the right cabal and a solid server.
I have been playing on my cabal’s 2 private servers. We have one server for each map and there are no PvP clans. It’s only our clan currently and although we have PvP settings turned on, we are focused on PvE. The RP and lore/canon experience is what we are about.
