Sorry if this has been discussed before but what are the Notes that you get from NPC sorcerers? My server had a great discussion but couldn’t come to any conclusions.
Some said they were nothing but one thing I learned about this game is everything has a purpose
I know Sorcerer pages help your own book, Failed Pages can be dismantled into black blood but what about the notes - I have like 60 of them! LOL
Any tips are appreciated!
They’re just notes, players can create them as well for decorative purposes.
You can also leave messages on them when placed in the world for other players to read when they interact with them.
Various languages can be learned in-game that allow you create specific notes which other players cannot read without knowing the language themselves.
Thanks! In one way I was hoping that they would give me some “ULTIMATE COOL POWER” but leaving notes and stuff is cool also.

My assumption is they were added so that Sorcerer Satchels would always have something inside them.
The Map only drops if you do not already have another Map or the Tome of Kurak already in your inventory, and then the Pouches and Spell Pages only have a chance to drop. So if the Pouch and Spell Page both failed their drops, and you already had a Map or the Tome, then you would get an empty Satchel.
Now Satchels always drop at least 3 Notes, so they are never empty.

Well it does make sense that a sorcerer might have some random notes scattered among his research.
At any rate, I just toss them into the dismantling bench when I get back to base. And since I’ve finished upgrading the tome, the sorcerer pages go in there as well.
