star metal ore is not spamming in the specified region I searched for about 12 hours but couldn’t find it what is the reason

Are you on a server or single player, pc or console? The meteor spawner has an increasing probability of spawning every like 30 min of server up time, so if in single player and you logout, the timer quits counting. On pc if admin, you can type datacmd meteor spawn and force spawn them (no console version equivalent). Note that meteors dont smoke anymore. They just show as the rocky spheres. They also have a variable number of spawns per shower, so if very few spawned, it might be easy to overlook them.
