Not sure what could be going on, but my game isn’t letting me sprint. I tried relogging, and I tried reassigning sprint to different keys. Nothing seems to be working.
In addition, occasionally my character starts walking slower. a dodge roll seems to fix that issue until it happens again. I assume there’s a connection between these two issues, but idk.
Anyone have any ideas?
Does your stamina regenerate? There have been several bug reports about stamina getting drained and not regenerating. Apparently, the solution is to pull the bracelet.
My stamina is full. I’m able to jump and climb, just not sprint.
Just found out I’m able to sprint of my horse, just not on foot.
I was hoping somehow logging my computer off at night might’ve changed something. But no such luck. Still no sprinting on foot.
It’s so weird, since I haven’t changed anything that would’ve affected that. No new mods, no key binding changes, nothing. Just playing the game the way I’ve always played it.
My nephew installed new memory sticks so I have 4x the RAM I had before. But that was on Christmas, and I’ve played plenty since then. This issue just started yesterday.
Do you play with other people and talk to them with text chat? By default, walk is toggled with backspace, which is very common to accidentally hit outside of an open textbox while chatting.
I recommend changing the keybind for walk.
They did that already. 
Was a good idea though. It is odd that it only effect them while on foot but now while mounted. 
I really have no idea what could be behind this. 
@Wolfkyn, have you tried pulling your bracelet to see if that solves the problem?
I play single-player. I’ve tried turning the slow walk on and it works okay, although doesn’t take effect right away. I press backspace and the camera zooms in like it usually does, but I’m still walking at a normal pace. If I click the left mouse button, then I start the slow walk until I hit backspace again.
This whole situation is just so very weird.
Sprint toggle =/= walk toggle.
Good catch there. I completely misread that.
Just tried it, didn’t help. 
Just tried starting a new character on Siptah, and couldn’t sprint there either.
Settings → controls → restore defaults → praise Crom
That did the job. I don’t understand it since Left Shift is what I had before and after restoring default. But it fixed the issue. I can sprint again. Thank you.
