Since the latest patch the Butcher Knifes give only a small portion of the exotic flesh as they gave before, I am sure this is not intended since right now you get way more Exotic Flesh using your Obsidian Axe.
I am playing on barbaric settings, my Butcher Knife has a T3 efficiency kit and I am running the 30-ponits survival perk, I do not know which of these things might be responsible for it, but I wanted to give you as much info as possible.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
1.Log in a game with barbaric settings
2.Slay some elephats
3.Harest them with your butcher knife
4.notice that they drop much less exotic flesh as they used to.
