Has anyone been able to purchase them in game? I keep getting a message about overlay but its enabled in Steam and in options.
I have purchased them. Likely the above overlay issue.
yeah i thought that at first as well but it is enabled in both sections. The error that I get says that overlay isn’t enabled, but that isn’t true.
It won’t let me attach a screen shot being a newly registered user.
Does your game region version match your play region?
I am not sure how to check that.
I am reinstalling Steam and Conan to see if that helps. Steam support responded and said “make sure the overlay is on” which it was but maybe the data on my side was damaged in some way. I will know soon.
Did you buy it direct thru steam or buy a steam code? If it was just a steam code, perhaps that’s not a code for your play region. I bring this up because I saw a report of someone who had bought a UK copy and uses it in the US so it can’t currently reconcile the currency difference. Anyway, may or may not be related.
Well the reinstall is at least giving me a new error and it says “Failed to buy store item”
I do recall buying this game from cdkeys, I bought it as a package. I will look and see if I can find the region settings.
Well, in Steam I launched “Big Picture” and then launched the game from within there. Once the game loaded up it did allow me to purchase Crom coins. I do not know why the game needs to be launched this way and not directly from my desktop icon. But at least for now I know how to work around the bug.
