Hi. i have recently stopped gaining xp. Im at level 60 and my xp has stopped at 18,199,150.
i am no longer gaining xp for any actions. I did read a post frrom last year saying there is a
level cap at 60. Is this the case? This seems wrong as we need to reach level 62 to build
the Map Room.
Any answers to this problem would be appreciated.

Lol… You can learn the map room as low as lvl 1 if your careful and just run in to the cartographer but more likely you’ll be higher than that just because you would have accumulated XP just getting there… The parts for the map room will use items that you should have by 30-40… And yes, hard cap is lvl 60
@Hobgobblin247 has your answer. If your friends told you that level 62 was when you could learn the map they trolled you and you might need a new source for CE info.
The default max level is level 60.
The confusion arises probably from the Conan wiki where the map room feat is listed as level 62. I’ve asked about that myself, wondering why when I know I learnt it before level 60 and had seen players on my server at level 30 or lower placing map rooms. … the short answer is: technically it is listed as level 62 in the dev kit & other information the wiki creators have access to … but in reallity it’s a feat that is open-level to learn.
Confusing … oh yes … especially as other recipes which are also open-level to learn are obviously listed as level 0 in the same source the information is pulled from (eg Specialist cooking and brewing recipes).
The maproom feat is available from the Cartographer. He is located in the Unnamed City at The Archives.
Yea the Conan Wiki threw me on a few items. Gold coins to gold dust and bars for example. When I checked it said 10 coins per bar but in game everyone says it is 5.
