Leveling not yielding XP, no +XP option in admin

I was messing around with the admin panel and playing around with levels. Currently my character is level 63 (due to trying to fix the issue) and it seems that no matter what I do, it’s not granting any XP, so I’m not able to get any perks. I tried setting the level to around 10/20 to see if anything would generate XP, but it doesn’t. I tried the +level option but that’s not giving XP either. I saw on some old reddit posts that players fixed this issue by using the +XP or +1k XP options, but those don’t seem to be available in this build. I’ve done a significant amount of work in this play through and I’d really like to not have to restart from the beginning.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Set level to (enter level, unsure if specific level caused issue) and hit apply
  2. Possible setting level above 60 caused issue, but even when setting level to 60, it still wouldn’t give XP or perk points
  3. Mixture of setting level and +level
  4. If setting level to above 60 when under 60 caused the issue, need a way to revert level

I’ve no idea if this would work - but what happens if you set your level to 60 (or whatever) and then try the ‘reset feats’ ‘reset attributes’ buttons (or drink a yellow lotus potion)? Does that also recalculate the numbers?

Welcome to our community.
The level cap for the base game is 60. Going above that would probably require the use of a mod. If you’re using mods, please be aware that they can cause unintended issues

If you want no mods then here’s a tip if you begin new as won’t work unless new since you already us admin

When you begin new use admin to lvl yourself to 60. Then spend all add tributes points after that lvl yourself to 61 and you will receive 12 more points but whatever you do do not lvl yourself down as you begin the game with 1 point which is tied to no lvl up and you will lose it forever
