Succubus, Incubus not in the game?

Hello all!

Really wondered why there is no succubus and incubus in the game? they don’t even have to be as thralls or followers (although it would be cool) I know this game is low magic and that suits me fine, would’ve just loved to see he succubus and incubus appear as bosses, as they are plenty in Unchained and were my favourite raid bosses.

Never played Unchained myself. But love the idea of succubus and incubus in the game. They could be high level minions of Derketo like the “Black Corsair Elite” are for the “Black Hand”. Although i probably would want them as a thrall also.

Succubi and incubi never appear in Howard’s Conan stories, although thematically there’s no reason why they shouldn’t. Otherworldly demonic creatures certainly appeared in Howard’s works, although they tended more towards the bestial and unintelligent rather than manipulative and seductive.

The reason they don’t appear is probably because there’s no room for them in the Exiled Lands - at least not yet. Maybe a future dungeon could hold some?

Better idea to keep that for sorcery features, maybe…

like a summon-able minion of sorts. could see that, where say the followers of Set could summon a boss size snake (with lesser health) to fight along side for X number if minutes then disappear.

Because sorcery not in game. Both would be heavy censor in censor versions of the game. I rather not have a censor version of both. I rather another demon be used.

Only mods don’t work on consoles. other wise sure.

Having such creatures as a mid-level summon before the main deity (that you can currently summon), or as a tamable dungeon thrall. And each religion would get their own i.e. succubus would go with Derketo / Dagon as they are already lust based, Set a giant snake, etc. It could be that your starting religion is the only one that gets you the mid-level summon creature, with the exception of Dogs of the Desert - as you can not choose Jhebbal Sag at the start of the game.

Yes i know you can learn all the religion in the game that doesn’t mean you can/could get the mid-level summon, just as being apart of any of the religions doesn’t mean you can go into there territory with out being attacked .

now if it dungeon based that we can only get such creatures, then each religious person that you are able to talk/learn from could give you a quest to get something from a dungeon only they have access to. similar but unlike Shamalla The Pirate Queen, whose quest is open to all and remains open after talking to her. These dungeon are locked and only your starting religion can unlock it. i.e. so a started follower of Derketo can not enter the Set, or Yog religion dungeon even if one learns and follows later in-game.

Same rules could apply if only summon-able. i.e. a found item at end of dungeon that allows you to summon, or as consumable elixir that can only be crafted at your/their altar.

And with Crom as your starter all mid-level creatures are locked.

Just thoughts, sorry for the long post.

was unaware of this from Funcom.
In truth the whole locked dungeon idea was borrowed from an other game. in the end just thoughts on how they could be implemented. if at all.
I do know that the devs are basing this world on Howard’s Conan stories, ( as posted by Kapoteeni ) with some movie tie-ins, not so much of marvel, or others who’ve had the rights over the years. although i could be wrong about the latter

I kind of like the idea of a summonable succubus/incubus. Perhaps similar to the undead stuff we can summon.

I’d rather see more Lovecraftian demons myself.
