Suggestion-Base repair system

I like the new purge system but the one thing I find more tedious than anything is having to run around repairing every wall and foundation after every attack and now I’m dreading it more then ever knowing that they can now summon meteors to do area damage.

I would like to suggest a way we can repair damaged structures faster like in similar fashion to the thrall feeder.
Perhaps placing a new type of chest or small structure that we can place excess mats into that will repair all objects and structures within a radius when activated.
Destroyed items will still need to be replaced and the chest will be disabled during purges like the building system. It will work just like the thrall feeders but instead of feeding thralls with the food in the inventory it will repair structures with materials in the inventory.

This is just an idea I have that I hope gets implemented in the future cause having to repair as well as rebuild after every purge is seriously going to be as tedious as hell.

Or… Pay gold to the tavern keeper for base repairs

Is that a thing?

A while ago it was suggested to have a “repair thrall”, just load it with mats and it repairs damage.

Sometimes while on PVP servers it was necessary to remove some pieces to get to other damaged pieces.

It was hoped that a repair thrall could fix damage without disassembly.

No more pointless thralls standing around please that one coffer muttering to himself is annoying enough if they could maybe just add a repair feature to the thrall feeder would be good enough.

If you’re on PC (and not limited in such things by whatever server you might play on) - it may interest you that there is a mod to stop the accountant from talking:

I did use that mod for a bit but removed it along with one other mod to clean up my mod lay out to fix some issues I was having with random encounters not happening. I then moved the coffer away from my main base to my purge base so I didn’t have to hear him
