This is a suggestion from the Conan Exiles Discord by radbrad66 so posting on their behalf as they don’t have a forum account.
The suggestion is to make a slight change in regards to how Auto-run functions to where sideways movement input doesn’t cancel it.
The main goal of their suggestion to allow steering a horse while having auto-run turned on (currently this is not possible as the forward movement stops as soon as any steering input is sent)
Note: Because this suggestion is aimed at mount control primarily, this would also have to be done via the mount input and simply distinguish directional input then avoid toggling autorun off for sideways input - just pointing this out since we have a separate auto-run flag there
