Survival Heavy Armor

With the next set of DLC on its way, if this new set Heavy armor isn’t Survival, can we please get a set that has a Heavy Survival armor?

The new set’s heavy is Vitality while the medium is Survival (and light is Accuracy).

@Irkalla , Why exactly you want a heavy survival armor please? I would like to know the reasons. How many chances are for a player to play full survival build? Is there a reason? Please share your thoughts, I would really want to know, thank you.

One thought that occurs to me is ‘Antidote of One’ - I like the perk, but there’s no way I’m taking that many points out of Vitality and Grit to raise it that far. But maybe in a heavy armour I might be more willing, since I could probably get away with it better.

I’ve also previously thought ‘all the armour weights should have all the stat options’ but I’ve gradually realised that’s not as important as I thought, because I barely even look at most of the options these days - thralls get heavy Vit armour (or sometimes strength/agility if I’m getting bored) and I get light or medium armour that works with my stats (so, usually Bear Shaman for the late game…). But still, I can understand people wanting all the options. I might no longer view it as particularly important, but I can see why others might

I’m not sure why the OP wants it - and would be interested to see if there’s other good reasons I haven’t thought of, so I hope they’ll still answer

One reason, there are no heavy survival armors. Second reason, after dealing with plenty of players who abuse poison, Antidote of One and the right stats made for an incredible tank build that it literally took multiple players while I was over encumbered to finally kill me. Third, Antidote of One lets you use weapons that fully corrupt you when you use them without getting corrupted.

Problem is, that strategy is basically a form of security through obscurity. If it becomes too easy to make an Antidote of One build, then more people will use it, then more people will develop counters to it, then it will be useless.

I’m not saying Funcom shouldn’t make a heavy Survival set, but I’m not sure you will be getting what you want if they do.

I can easily do it now with Light or Medium. I just want the Heavy for the option and extra armor. I’ve noticed most pvpers don’t want to risk a fourth tier perk if it isn’t strength or vitality, so I doubt everyone will start running survival when they can now with just less armor.

But on a player it can be scary. When poison didn’t work on me they tried to bleed me out. And unless I them stack it, it would dissipate too fast for it to build.

There’s a good chance it’s just been the players we’ve been dealing with that like to use poison. They’re also the types that complain about using thralls then break out their thralls when they’re desperate, so they’re probably the types to just pull out all the stops to try and “win.” All in all, I just want the option for if I want/need it. It’s literally the only armor type/stat combo we don’t have. Even in the Eldarium armors, I don’t think any of the heavy sets have Survival.

@Irkalla , Then they would fix one. It is something that I was wondering, why it doesn’t exist (?), but now I can see some reasons. Still these reasons (like @Tephra said and more) are not enough. We should have a heavy armor based on survival. Thanks for bringing this up.
You see, no matter how many years you play this game, you are still learning something new, omg, I love this game.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Survival Heavy options.

Currently playing on a server where survival adds bonus stats to your pet if its not a thrall.

I would want it so that I can get Hard Worker Perk without resorting to light and mids. The Antidote of One consideration is what keeps bringing me back for more. Nice discussion, y’all.
