Bug Description:

After the patch to “enhanced”, certain builds are no longer possible. The two I noticed: DLC gates do not allow ceilings to be placed on top of them, while the basic gates allow it. This means the player have to build up one level above the gate to allow players to cross to the other side of the gate. Also, since the enhanced patch it is no longer possible to build regular walls around foundations (for example, Aquilonian foundations are pure white, while walls have 2 blue horizontal lines, that way it was possible to build a founadtion with 2 horizontal blue lines).

Bug Reproduction:

1. Build a stonebrick gateway

2. place stonebrick celings on the gate

3. place aquilonian gate frame

4. be not able to place aquilonian ceiling at top of the gate

Also, I can offer a couple of workarounds for the walls on foundations problem while we wait for a solution. None of them are perfect, but they might at least allow you to build what you are trying to in the meantime.

  1. You can place a wall and then place a foundation behind it afterwards - obviously this only works for interior setups, because you need something to place the wall on.

  2. You can still place fence foundations on the sides of regular foundations (but oftennot wedge foundations, frustratingly) - this only works if the fence foundation gives the appearance you want.

  3. You can replace the outer rim of foundations with ceilings on pillars instead (place the ceilings, then place the pillars underneath for structural support), then you can ‘hang’ walls from the sides of the ceilings down into the ground - this only works if the ceilings match with the tops of the foundations (unless you replace all foundations in the build with ceilings and pillars).

Hopefully one of these at least allows you to build what you are trying to.
