Terrible bazaar rotation

Hi,
I wonder why Conan doesn’t have a proper store. This rotation in the bazaar is just awful. I’ve been waiting for a few sets and items for a while and they just don’t come back into rotation.
Why doesn’t Funcom just make a big store with different categories? Emotes, equipment, building sets. Etc.
I bet Funcom would make a lot more money if they just let people buy whatever they want whenever they want.

Well, if they had a full store, it would be more obvious when they raise the prices.

By having offerings on rotation, in addition to the fake urgency that you don’t know when they will be back, they can also up the prices and many people will be none the wiser.

Yep. What the one above me said. Funcom leverages FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) as a marketing strategy.

Which - really - all it does is it gives the whales a chance to pat themselves on the back for having absolutely EVERYTHING because they are committed to checking the Bazaar every second.

And it actively ticks off the you and me’s of the world. Because we hate it.

Yes, and those who have everything often do nothing with it…
and funcom decided to give them priority

It’s a Chinese mobile game store…
Just wait for p2w to arrive… they have already tried it and eventually it’s going to be here to stay - another standard in Chinese MMOs and mobile games.

Not sure why you got a frown face lol, but this has been an issue a few of us have brought up from time to time.
The management refuses to change the store even though many have repeatedly asked them to.

Thing is, they should probably have 70-80% of items available at all times, and then the most desired 20-30% of “rare” items, the ones that sell the best - on FOMO rotation.

That way they get the best of both strategies, people who just wanna buy some stuff can do it, and “rare” items can actually be rare compared to common bazaar items.
