After presing ESC ingame the main menu flicks open and closes itself. Only way to bring it up is to press ESC in inventory/character menu or map.
Was solved on steam already -> reset your keybindings to default.
Or if you dont want to do that, go into inventory and then press escape. Then the menu showed for me.
