Testlive Update 2.4 (06.04.2021) New Lands, Zath, Character Transfer and more! Oh my!

Greetings Exiles,

We bring to you a new hotfix release for the Testlive version. Please feel free to share your feedback with us.

Currently Known Issues

  • God’s Protection and True-Name recipes in the altars are not functional.
  • Player cannot smoothly ascend ramp\bridge at Salvage Point camp.
  • There are some clipping issues with the Primeval chest plate with the breast scaling at max (male and female).
  • Interacting with unconscious players is counter-intuitive since you have to interact with the capsule and not the mesh.
  • Bushes in the Ashlands area of New Lands are cannot be harvested.
  • The Kinscourge is not rotating to face the player between each step of its sweeping attacks.

  • Added Grey Ones Miniboss in the Proving Grounds camp.

  • Fixed an issue where Zath’s projectile attack didn’t damage Thralls.
  • Fixed an issue where the weapon in the shortcut bar disappeared when equipping another weapon during an attack animation with the first weapon.
  • Fixed an issue where initiating a bow drawing action with minimal stamina amount allowed the character to draw it infinitely.
  • Fixed the Kinscourge movement while AOE attacking the player.

  • Fixed an issue with a mob spawning behind a rock in the Newland area. Praise Crom!
  • Fixed an issue with Devolved First Men fighting friendly NPCs inside camps.
  • NPCs at Leyshrine camp are no longer hostile to each other.
  • Fixed the ragdoll physics for Rocknose mobs.
  • Fixed the naming of a couple of thralls at the Stygian Invaders faction camp and The Nook.
  • Fixed an issue with the boss Lloigar in The Fractured Citadel not aggroing the player.
  • Fixed an issue in regards to followers not following the player through gates.
  • Fixed an Accursed Fighter NPC in the Temple of the Loon that was hostile towards other NPCs in the camp.
  • Improved the path-finding of NPCs in The Nook camp.
  • Fixed an issue with the Abyssal Remnant failing to reach the player after slam attacking with his bite attack.

  • Fixed an issue with the feat trainer in the Riverwatch Keep camp not being interactable.
  • Fixed some textures around the female character’s neck when equipped with the Khitan Captain Dingjia armor.
  • Fixed some texture issues with the"Daggers of the Grey Ones" at The Proving Grounds camp.
  • Fixed the texture of dog pets when placed in Animal Pen.
  • Fixed some of First Men NPC’s that could not be harvested.
  • Fixed some camp markers that were not appearing in the correct locations.
  • Improved the LOD for the Black Knight armor.

  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to reach one of the loot chests located in front of Leyshrine of the Goblinoid.
  • Fixed issues with various loot chests in Land’s Stygian Mercenaries faction camp, Grey Pools, The Nook, and Ruins of New Khemi.
  • Fixed some wells in Black Corsairs faction camp.
  • Fixed a bag prop that was hanging incorrectly in Ruins of New Khemi camp.
  • Fixed placement of braziers at Black Pools and Grey Pools.
  • Fixed the texture of a bonfire at the Accursed faction camp.
  • Reduced the blood decal covering Dagger of the Grey Ones feat teacher. The cleanup service crew did a great job on this one.
  • Axe of the Grey Ones item in the Westlight camp should now be interactable.
  • Fixed some stairs at Westlight camp to facilitate smooth movement on the stairs.
  • Fixed the placement for various rocks inside the Refuge of the Gremlins.
  • Fixed an invisible collision blocking walkway at The Fractured Citadel.

  • Fixed the size of the axe thrown in the intro cinematic of Conan Exiles.
  • Fixed an issue with the player character’s model that disappeared while drinking water in the Exiled Lands intro cutscene.

Server transfers make the tribe wars bigger and way more interesting, alliances start to pop up and politics go from your typica local skirmish to a global war spannin across multiple servers.

Yeah have fun with searching through 100 empty servers to find where they’re hiding :man_facepalming:

They can make it so that the crafted items show what server they were made on so when u get invaded u can hav an idea where to look for em and also info gets passed around behind the scene on whos where so u wont even hav to scout.

Yeah they could… But have they said they will? Most stuff will probably also be moved from the last server they raided, not their home base server.

And you don’t need to use the same character, clan name or even account on the server you hide on. Unless they make it so you can see where people transfer to/from you would have to be super lucky to catch people.

Sure but the point is they can hide but so can u so it’s all equal and also there aint that many actually gud base spots so if u scoutin servers u just hav to check a few spots and as u said theres 100 servers if u got 10 ppl thats only 10 servers per person to scout which aint much bruh. We on ark got like 500 servers and everyone knows whos where cuz info gets passed around and ppl ar makin lists showin who owns what server.

Finally this drama with server transfer is going productive.

Why would you hide your loot at a meta base spot?

Population of archers will decrease even more. It already was awful (even on PvE servers), after healing arrows nerf, archers were almost useless. With this nerf they might as well remove archery completely from conan lmao.

God i wish they finally split balance updates from PvE and PvP, these are 2 completely different game modes and play styles. Stop balancing PvP when it affects PvE players and makes game for us unbearable.

Well how else u gon use it? Like u do realize u would want yo loot to be in yo actual base so u dont hav to go back and forth to get it and also who raids for loot anyway if u got 10 ppl farmin u ar already ballin with resources u dont rly need more stuff. Most ppl i know wipe bases cuz they hate that tribe not cuz they care bout the loot if there even if any cuz ppl usually despawn their stuff when they gettin raided.

So what do you need a main base for? Just to give people a place to raid?

The back and forth will be from server to server not from stash to main base on home server. You aren’t supposed to be on your home base server, you are supposed to be on other servers raiding.

all you need is enough kits and bombs to raid the next server… You can do this out of small factories on different dead servers. A lot of clans have a/some members who prefers to farm anyway.

U need a main base so u aint a 10 min wipe and have a place to store yo stuff and just having a base u can call home in general, but no wonder ppl ar complainin bout transfers when most of em live in useless bases that get wiped easily, make a main base up on a pillar and u wont be an easy raid.

I’m pretty sure this last hotfix ( 2021/04/15 13:00 CET ) is not yet available on Steam for the standalone TestLive.

you really don’t get the point.

Lets assume… I don’t have a main base… I have a couple of guys on some dead server farming, living in some hidden spot. They’re not in my clan. To everybody else they’re just some randoms on a dead server.

I need stuff. I log on second account. They check server is empty (besides them). I transfer to their server. They’re waiting for me, I get the stuff and I transfer off the server again, over to the server we’re raiding on. My clan gets the stuff and I’m off again. Back to main account and ready to keep raiding.

There’s so reason to have a main base in a meta spot. You will be way better off staying hidden.

And it will take you ages before you find our hidden spot on some dead server unless you are insanely lucky and happen to log on to our stash server at the exact same time my transfer character is there. And that’s only if you figure out which account I use for transfers. All kinds of random people start on servers or log in again after they haven’t been on for 6 months. Only reason you will find out eventually is because everybody will want to play on their own server and jump to others to raid. So you can guess who the new guy is when only 2 clans are on the server (the attacker and the defender).

And lol at still thinking pillar bases is meta.

Okay if findin yo attackers is the issue then as i said they shud make items show what servers they hav been on like a history of the last 5 servers or somethin so ppl hav an idea whos raidin em?

Mmmm I wonder if horses are still broken and refuse to eat until the strenght buff is gone, no matter how low their hp is
