Does Funcom intend to address the broad sweeping reductions to some of the craftable weapon damage (up to 20% damage reductions and 10% penetration reductions) as much as an 85% durability reduction to craftable shields which are not documented in the patch notes?
That was not communicated transparently, nor does it appear to be a “scalpel” rather than a chainsaw.
How about thrall weapons now taking durability damage, not communicated in patch notes? And if that’s the case, why aren’t there karmic items being returned, if thrall gear durability is demonstrated to be toggleable?
The all-caps bug report (rant) that was removed by the community for being toxic, which cried for a nerf to karmic items, is now a moot point with thralls being code-able to take equipment damage (and already taking weapon damage). So why did karmic items need to be removed then?
What gives, Funcom?
If I was a subscriber to a monthly service game in this state, I’d be canceling my subscription so that the financial loss to the developer would speak for itself.
If I hadn’t already bought Early Access, I’d be threatening not to buy it, again, so that the financial lost opportunity to the developer would speak for itself.
Sadly, I’ve already paid you for the game, all of the DLC, and the Early Access, Funcom team. At this point, you have 100% of my money for the game that I purchased, and now you’ve sundered so much of our brief relationship as developer and consumer with the lack of transparency and the broad, sweeping, and seemingly unnecessary changes by listening to he who yells loudest, rather than those who quietly and positively support you, that I feel betrayed.
All I can do is say, “But I won’t play your game anymore.” That carries almost no weight, as I’ve already entrusted my Early Access fee to you.
Will you listen?
Will you address your seemingly antagonistic relationship with the consumers?
