Does anybody know if there is a limit to how many NPC thralls a base/clan can have? I ask because I set up my tavern and like how it looked with the NPCs chilling and walking around I decided to open another one a little outside the range of the first one. But not the number of thralls in the first one seemed to diminish.
I have two in one tavern (spread out to increase range) and there’s quite a few. Might just be a coincidence. Give it some time.

Merry Christmas. The npcs that’s spawning in your tavern are peaceful npcs, not thralls. The game has a limit on followers (thralls-pets) not npcs.
So technically even if you own 10 bars, your follower limits will always not be hurt, except the bar keeper, i believe they count like followers and not like crafters.
I will check it however to be 100 % about the bar keeper.
You completely missed the point of his reply I believe. He thinks the number of patrons in the bar has diminished since adding a second bar… at least that’s how I understood it. It had nothing to do with follower counts.

I don’t know if anyone has tested the limits of it. I have 20 extra stools in my bar and they all get filled. Don’t know if that helps.

I can’t remember where but I read that chairs are what bring thralls to the tavern after placing barkeep ect. Maybe place a lot of chairs.

I have 20 chairs. Usually there are 10-12 people present, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. There are always free chairs.
