This one wonders how vicious the next round of bow nerfs will be.
It is good to have copious baseline data to compare from.
In the meantime, this one not long ago did a Twing-Twang only PvP run.
It worked, perhaps better than it should have, but this one blames the circumstances and the test subjects.
I expected it to be more difficult.
Even with worse gear, the last fight would only take a bit more time, but I was never in serious danger at all, despite not fighting it perfectly 
Bows are much more powerful than I gave them credit for!
Your fight was nealy flawless, @SpherisCore . The damage you took was beyond acceptable.
Nice work . What’s the lowest lvl i could do that, i really need the night vision potions.
Day 2.
I saddle my horse and head to unnamed city. I really needed to find some grandmaster weapon repairs. I gain a pickaxe yesterday from the ghost chests and i wanted to repair it and upgrade it, even with my pathetic iron upgrades. Success, i find two of them, yes!
Then i went to the silver mine and Sepermeru, i was close to be lvl 30 to put another perk in expertise. I cannot grind materials without at least the hardworking perk it’s pointless.
Silver mine has a lot of coal and scorpions that help the lvl up. Plus silver mining is always beneficial. I return back home with plenty of steel from Sepermeru and other goodies for my furnace. I spend a couple hours grinding and killing crocodiles and finally fixed all my benches and upgrade the blacksmith and the carpenter. I had the lvl finally to fix blunded arrows and start the crafter chasing. So i started with sinner’s refuge because i needed some brimstone too . I placed my necessary order my horse to stop and off to the cave
What a beautiful surprise to see Galaskus the gourmand, so i shoot him with blunded arrows and… dead
. I say it’s ok, this must be bagged, so i head to the Asuras chosen spot and my friend croms was in there, i shoot with blunded arrow and dead again… Omg! I was lvl 35 with 4 perks in agility and 3 in expertise. I say it must be the bow, so i fixed a simple one from my inventory and placed the blunded arrows there. I went to the spiders to gain some ichor, silk and lvl up, return to the cave and this time i find lolxd. I shoot him once and half of his hp was gone, so i retreat to think something else. Getting Sinner’s refuge out of crafters hunting is only making things worst. I return home grab the advanced blunded fitting i find in Sepermeru and materials to fix a small alchemist station there. I would enter the cave without agility at all. I fixed another crude bow and placed my advanced blunded fitting there. I drink a potion amd enter the cave with 3 perks in expertise only, nothing else. The exiles was again dtop really easy and this time was @Mikey.I needed him badly, so i was really careful. I shoot a light on him andvhe lost egual hp and white bar, so slowly i was giving hits hoping that this will work.
And it did! He had about 5 hp when he fell unconscious, but even 1hp is enough to be alive.
My first carpenter yeeeee
I went for dinner and left my console open so when i return, Mikey woyld be ready to go home. I fixed a brand new Hyrkarian bow 500 steel arrows and head to jungle. I needed my Fia and lvl up a bit. On my first raid my lady was there. I shoot her with the blunded bow and i understand that for Lemurians i wouldn’t need to change my attributes, cool, so Fia was in my wheel
The time passed, i went only lvl 40 and i had left with 40 steel arrows. So i stopped
Tomorrow i will have to decide where to build a proper base.
I need to build and organize, i cannot focus in the mess of my Cabin and definitely i don’t want to build in the river, i need open valey.

Impressive work. I would’ve expected that last boss fight to be a lot harder. I remember how he absolutely demolished me the first time I went there. But it seems he waves at empty air a lot of the time.
Also one-shotting most things down there is not what I expected to see. Is this with regular damage mulipliers? I may need to invest some more into serpentman arrows.

After the Siptah update this boss lost the aim bot, it became way easier, but i didn’t expect it this easy true

It was my goal for today. I was planning to go to volcano and gain the recipe. With this video @SpherisCore not only presented his skill in this game but his knowledge too. He is amazing!!!
My thoughts exactly. I had no idea bows were such beasts, presently. If only thralls could shoot this good… I would love having a ranged back up like that.
Since the boss doesn’t have massive HP, I’m sure lvl and doesn’t hit that hard, I would say lvl 40
→ Glutton will keep you alive
→ Agility will boost your bow damage
If you wanna be safe, just roll and light attack, don’t even try to charge and power shot, that way you’ll get hit way less

Serpent-men arrows are the same as star metal now 
The bow that you can have in lvl 40 is the hyrkarian and i need 5 more lvls to unlock the ancient.
Plus my armor is really low, i cannot have epic pieces unless i wear the Lemurians strength armor. Last but not least i am on barbaric mode. Later on i will go to the volcano for the recipe, but i am not sure that i would be able to craft the serpent bow i don’t remember the recipe. Try on 40, barbaric with this equipment and tell me how it went.
You could loot a better bow though no?
But I will make the attempt
Edit: Goat Horn Bow is free and much better.
Can grind to lvl 45 for ancient bow if you need a crafted bow for some reason, that’s true 
Do you have a carpenter thrall to boost your bow’s damage or just base stats?
There is no serpent-men bow

What arrows am I using?
→ Dragonbone can be crafted no matter your level, easy grab.
→ Serpent-men as well, but are you going Volcano already or not?
→ Razor Arrows are the highest damage at lvl 40 in the base knowledge tree.
