The Bazaar needs to be fixed!

None of this rotation stuff in the Bazaar! There really isn’t too much else for me to say about it. If you play Conan, you know how frustrating the Bazaar really is. Not to mention the outrageous prices that potentially charge upwards $20 dollars or more for like 3 or 4 items a pop. Whereas the DLC packs we used to get provided 10 times the content for comparable or lower prices in some cases. This is ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to wait for months on end just to get the chance to buy the items that I want for my builds. This issue will only become worse over time as more and more items are added to the in-game store. I don’t login to this game every day, I have a life. And I know for a fact I’ve missed more than a few items I’ve been wanting for, for a long time due to this silly rotation nonsense. I’m losing a lot of motivation to play Conan Exiles, and I’m finding myself wanting to return less and less. The prices in the Bazaar don’t help either, but please, Funcom, make the thing fixed first so all items are available to be purchased at any time. I can overlook a lot of issues this game has, because I enjoy it so much. But this predatory behavior, no. It’s not too late to turn things around, but your player base is surely dwindling. You guys have some serious choices to make in a really short amount of time. I already have no interest in any of your upcoming games due to the practices you’ve introduced to Conan. But I’m still willing to change my mind, so long as some goodwill is shown to us, your players. I’m really not sure if this feedback will even reach any of you at Funcom, but I’ve said my piece. Ultimately, it’s up to you guys how everything will turn out in the end. Make the right calls. Thank you.

Side note, but provided the above issues are addressed, I wouldn’t mind seeing some more customization options for character creation! Like the Yamatai as a playable race! Roleplaying an exiled samurai sounds really cool!

Sorcery could be more useful too. If I wanted to roleplay a sorcerer, there really aren’t too many spells that can be utilized quickly for offense. Like fireballs for instance. At the very least, I should be able to strike people with the Arcane Staff, it has a pointed end after all.

I want to agree with this thread but you lost me at the end. Fireballs aren’t canon.

lol, M’kay no fireballs then. But some cool attack spells need to be added to make sorcery more of a viable playstyle. And from what I’ve seen of the upcoming Age of War Chapter 4, there are mages that can call down meteors to attack your base during purges. Now that would be a cool spell to have! So, serious damage dealing spells definitely do exist in the Conan universe, even without the fireballs! And we need some pronto!

That aside, the main point of this thread is still the Bazaar. It really needs to ditch the rotation and just have all of the items be available at all times. More reasonable prices too. As now its really frustrating.

Sorry I thought this was about how the bazaar needs to change it’s store buyer beware policy, drop it’s prices, and offer pack discounts.

My bad.

The bazaar already has 2 sections the bazaar and DLC.
I would like to suggest the adding of a few more sections seperating old and new bazaar items particularly bazaar items that were available each seasonal theme.
Eg: Bazaar current, DLC, Bazaar Season 1, Bazaar season 2 ect each one with its own rotating cycle.
Atleast this way Players won’t have to wait longer for the item they want when a new season comes out it makes the item you want easier to find and Funcom gets money faster.

Not a bad idea and could be a decent compromise, dividing items into sub sections based on their season/Age. Still, I would prefer there be no rotation whatsoever. This way players can go right in and get what they want. As now, I’m really hesitant to pour any more money at all into the game with the current system. Even if something I’ve been wanting presents itself in the Bazaar. DLC was by far the way to go with this game, but I doubt Funcom will ever go back to that for Conan Exiles. I just refuse to aid this practice any more. Too bad too, there is some cool stuff in the in-game store and I still like the game.

It does!
