Hello.
I am a noob, no matter how many years I have been playing, and I am in a tough situation about a dungeon for beginners: The Dregs.

The 3 skull lizard boss of the first room gives me a key, but I cannot find the chest it opens. I have tried the dungeon many times on two different official servers, but all the chests I can find on the side pipes and at the bottom of the wells do not require any key to be opened. Maybe the chest has been looted first and needs time to respawn, or maybe I am just missing its location. Since I have never looted it before, I do not know which it is.

I tried to have a look at online videos explaining the dungeon, but the ones I could find skip that first room and its boss.

Could anyone confirm the location of the lizard boss’s chest please?

Majority of the legendary chests have moved to the end of the dungeon. For the dregs, I will offer this clue…the chain will lead the way.

Bosses no longer have assigned chests…
So even inside dungeons you will simply have some new bosses dropping skeleton keys, however ALL chests are going to be at the end of the dungeon.

In this case you have them at the bottom of the acid pool once you defeat the final boss.

Most of the dungeons on the wiki have an interactive map with all of the chest locations (legendary chests are marked in red).

There are still boxes with no key giver near by and boxes with multiple key givers. I believe that there are more key bosses then their are boxes.

Thank you all for your answers!
I found the three chests at the end, but thought it was just an additional bonus implemented recently to help the beginners for their first dungeon. So I was still going back, time after time, hoping to find the chest I was missing in the first room lol. After Erjoh’s post, I tried to climb the chain. I fell half way, almost died. I will try again later, when I have unlocked the sorcery power to fall smoothly.
Thank you again for your help, it will save me time in other dungeons lol.

Ya, good luck with that. I tried for 15 minutes and gave up.

Oh dear. I must return now. I’m going to work on the sorcery flying power and return for both the chain and spider. Who knows, it might even level me up 25 :smiling_imp:

It was an acid pit that had nothing in it. Now there is a big giant spider in it

It’s so frustrating, I have my flying bags, but I am falling not ever three or four meters away from the top, because of the lack of stamina. I decided to drink the yellow lotus potion which gives hallucinations, because it said +10 grit. But instead of giving me grit, it gave me corruption! So I have even less grit. I will have to come back better prepared, once again :sob:

You can get into a good position by crouching so you don’t fall. It doesn’t have to be exact, just close to the edge. Then go into first person to get the right angle.

Don’t worry about it too much, the reward for climbing the chain is just a couple of random loot chests.

Did it exist before now; age of war?

How interesting. Has this chain always been there? I didn’t know about it at all and didn’t notice it.
Is it possible to kill the boss by shooting him from above, from the first platform? (I can’t check it myself, I’m playing on a different map)
