The many flavors of FU in scenarios

Spectres in Mansion: Coming with an alternating immunity shield, self-heals and regen, stuns, roots and a proclivity to scatter, they will almost certainly wipe you if coupled with snipers.

Invisible spawn waves: Mobs will often not render for several waves, or an entire scenario.

Invisible snipers. Crosshair icon will not always render. Survivors still will hook on Snipers, and sometimes be shot in return.

Mobs hiding INSIDE geometry, mostly in Hotel: ranged pistol cultists will frequently run INSIDE the stairs, becoming immune to all attacks or pushes.

darxide: This happens in the Mansion when specters come up. They can phase through the back porch in the South East (I think it’s SE… I’ll have to double check) corner of the Mansion and just sit in the and attack survivors. You can’t hit them, even with AOE. Luckily, survivors and turrets can hit them, but only if you’re lucky enough to have a turret or a survivor with a weapon over there.

Giving survivors melee weapons makes them difficult to manage (Feedback, not a bug report)

(More Feedback: we need a group mode so badly.)

[Mod edit: Moving to bug reports, removing editorializing of reports to keep them objective.]

I agree and why can’t we kill the snipers!? That’s so dumb.

I agree,
This game needs more group content, and i have seen no reason for why they tampered and altered scenarios in the way they have and no explanation as to why we can’t do them as a group.

I had hoped that the survivors would eventually return to their original spawn points like in TSW but as i go higher in the tiers all i have are tears… I miss how they used to be.

It’s like someone designed the new scenarios without any idea of how they are run or work, like they had never even entered one themselves.

If they want people to stay and play then they need to make it more fun, reasonable, playable and able to be done in a group.

You forgot:

Can’t dodge snipers on stairs.

I would understand if they were, y’know, sniping from out of range (ie. Hotel ledges) but you can actually melee the ones in Castle!

Seen survivors start shooting them too. XD

Ooh, good to know.

But now that we can no longer stack turrets… ugh. Reducing the MoF price on turrets to 5k~ish would be a totally acceptable compromise, imo. Easy enough to pull for an emergency use but not exploitable in laying the deathtrap.

It does seem rare, though. I’ve only had it happen a few times. It seems most likely to happen if the spawn that comes from the front of the Mansion is a large group of spectres as opposed to one or two.

So if you get the unlucky combo of Mansion + spectre spawn + large group spawn at SE corner + no armed survivor/turret in that spot = Bad Times.

Luckily, since they are the group style mobs, they have the least amount of health possible so even one armed survivor can take one of them out without suffering too much damage.

I’ve noticed it happens depending on survivor position; the mobs spawn in a particular configuration at their spawn point, and from there they calculate the nearest position to the (semi?)random survivor positions… if they are in certain spots, they find the wallslide hax.

Only get cultists in the stairs when a survivor is very close to the end of the stairs near the barrels.
