The purge meter remains full after a purge

Hi folks!

I’m confused about the way the purge meter works.

I got a purge last night while I was away, now I’m logged in this afternoon and I see the purge meter is as full as it was yesterday afternoon when I logged out and I’m afraid I’ll be purged again tonight. What I’ve known so far is that the purge meter is first emptied after each purge. But this time it stayed full and I assume that another purge will hit me tonight - probably when I’m offline again.

Is it wanted like that? Is this a bug? … Is there an explanation for that?

For the sake of completeness: I play on the official PvEC server #1040 and the whole thing affects me on this same server.

Doesn’t look like you got purged to me. You can’t get purged while you’re offline (at default settings) so it looks like it was your turn to be purged but no one from your clan was online and therefore the purge was terminated. The log shows this happened several times (Purge Started >> Purge Ended) and because you weren’t purged, your meter never went down.

Thanks for the information. I wasn’t sure, since the last base I built was in a lava flow I assumed that’s why the NPCs didn’t do any damage when attacking.

Second guesser answer: just what @DaVice just said .
When I am not ready for a Purge, I avoid playing during Purge time and play again after it is over.
Purge-meter will continue to grow and, so far, I have never got a Purge while offline (on official servers).
Best of lucks with the named Thralls :+1:.

Good hunting!
