The Thrall Worker Union Contract is Sweet

,

I placed a few crafters, and they went directly to their stations and started with some really awesome new animations. It was great.

But, since they’ve unionized, it’s work 2 minutes, take a break, eat, take a looooonng nap, wander around, look at the armor displays, work another minute.

I have a tanner that hasn’t left the dining hall since yesterday, at least 3 of 8 workers in bed at any time, 2 in the bar, the tanner, and maybe 1 at a time working.

The shop is empty. For a living settlement, this is as dead as it gets.

I smell he is going to get fired soon enough :rofl::rofl:.

Ohh, that’s really bad! Why? Is this on official server?
I am really sorry m8, because the visitors now love to eat next to bonfire or sit around the fountain.
Yet now that you mention it my bar tall stools were empty too, but this made me happy, i finally have a chair in my own freaking bar. I’ll double check in awhile.
Thanks for your feedback @speedice.

Have you tried placing the tanner on guard with no forced task?

If you have, do they go back to “settlement” actions or stay stock still?

Just like the modern workforce (at Funcom).

He? There are no “He’s” in my base.

I have had them follow and told them to stop. They usually go straight to bed after that. I have placed them on guard at the station. They just stand there.

That’s the point. That’s all they do. I can’t get any work out of them.

I watch mine walk in a conga line from the beds to the bar.

Next to or green ghost them to work on station?

Trust me, you don’t want them on your benches while you try to redecorate .
You simply cannot move the bench, you have to delete it to make them go away from the bench in order to do your job.

The thrall workers union this chapter discussed workers rights, break and relaxation. While most workers were satisfied the bartenders were not so they left. next part and of this chapter they will discuss equal pay and healthcare benefits. :joy:

This one doesn’t care if the help is eating, drinking, or even napping.

So long as the job gets done.

Also, they seem to bring their own snacks, because nothing is missing from this one’s fridge.

They work from home now.

Now this one thinks that all of the craft thralls should be pantsless.

Or in pajamas.

Funcom, you don’t care about bugs, you have no time for QA.
But money pleases you Funcom.
If you want coins, grant this one an Otter onesie for the new work environment.
And if not, then to hell with you.

I want soldiers to act like crafters even if all the forum hate me for this request!!!

Ps. As long as they have guard and dismissed option of course!

This thrall of mine really likes to sit and eat. He was sitting and eating and then got up!

Where did he go?
Like right to the other chair a metre away :joy:

And he was even pushing me as he got up and walked :joy:

Eventually he got up and walked through my base to go sit on some chairs I have in front of my base.

It was neat seeing him walk around. And at the cooking spots, etc

I often wonder: “But, really ?”

Picture this:

You are on the woke mess that is gaming today. Then you are told that there is a game, in which you can build your own base, you can do “those everythings” you know you can do in Conan Exiles, plus it has mods for almost every aspect of the game, and you see a cinematic:

I am sure most of gamers would say “sign me up”. I would pay full price twice over just to flee the woke mess.

Then you see the game …

And I really dont understand why. Those are simpler things to do than other things the game already does. I mean: The whole survival systems of the game are complex. While you might as a player see just two or three stats going up and down, the synergy and systems involved in them are very well made. Yet, when it comes to a simple “puppet show”, it seems like a crazy bloody work to do.

Even if it was required that they actually had a function, to take things from a specific place to another, or to time and count their interactions, I would really think “ok, that is hard”. But no, it is a simple make believe.

But what do I know … right ?
