Thinking about the sand storm mechanic

want to say i love this game. It is awesome!! So the other day i was walking around and just randomly started taking damage. Aparently it was a sandstorm, but the sun was bright and shinng on All of tbe exiled lands. But it got me thinking. What if there was some sort of envirmental issue in every biome. Lime blizzards in the north, where i had to find shelter, or a flash flood in the jungle. Or somthing like that. Just to keep us all on our toes all over the map. Just thinking. I would understand if thisnos rediculous. Just thought an extra level of pve would be interesting.

I would be alright with these since I play in sandbox, but only if there’s places in the environment or ways to get away from them so that you have a chance for it to not kill you outright  Or even a blizzard in the north as you said, but not exactly damaging you but maybe more like a whiteout that you would have to wait until it passes or risk a giant fall from cliffs / wild animals attacking you etc… I think the flash floods in the jungle would be much harder to do codewise just because it’s a very large biome and sea level seems to be pretty constant. A potential forest fire from lightning strikes may be more feasible for that.

I have always shared this sentiment. There are mods for this such features, however if you are a console player such as myself or on official servers, then sadly we cannot access them. For the record, I would love to see blizzards in the Frozen North, the occasional Ash or sulphur gas ‘storm’ in the Volcano, and something else for the Jungle. Swarms of mosquitos or terrential rain have also been suggested.
