Age of Invasion.

A complete fixing and reworking of the purge that fixes bugs, improves functionality, and gives players and server admins options to set different purge zones (along with difficulty). Sorcerers join the fray with lightning storms and zombie hordes. Higher level purges will have mounted attackers, trebs, and the highest level purge brings an angry avatar.

Age Of “XXXXX”, where XXXXX is current content that gets a rework and monetization through battlepass.

Here’s an idea for the next age: the Age of Trolls. It will have the following features:

  • All NPCs audio cues will be replaced with complaints about the weapons, the armor, the world, and everything else.
  • The religion teacher NPCs dialogue will describe the various in-game deities as incompetent and greedy. They will complain about how the gods are too focused on granting miracles through shrines, when they should be dealing with the people who comes from beyond the cursewall.
  • All lore stones will be reworked to talk about how things were much better before and how the world is dying. The Giant Kings’ lore stones will blame the Lemurians for that, and the Lemurian lore stones will blame the Giant Kings.
  • There will be new unique story NPCs whose dialogue will talk about how people have been removing their bracelets and leaving in droves, and because of that the Exiled Lands are dying. If you choose a dialogue option that questions whether things are really that bad, they will say things like “I don’t expect a white knight like you to understand our problems.”
  • Every time you attack an NPC wielding some legendary-tier endgame weapon, they will make fun of you for using it, because everyone always fights with that weapon.
  • Instead of attacking your base, the purge will spawn waves of NPCs who loudly complain about the base you built and how nobody asked you to build it and how it made everything worse.

They could also add the Age of White Knights too, with a plethora of shiny armors for each of the metals in the game.

The Age of Wokeness!

Wherein Conan will begin to look and act…different :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

We will also all have to remove anything deemed ‘problematic’ such as violence, nudity, gore…and going forward you will have to ask permission before attempting to pummel a thrall into a wheel of pain.

The Age of Sigmar.

Followed by the Age of Lawsuits, initiated by a certain other games company. (I suspect this would also be the sequel Age if Funcom tried to use Age of Empires or Age of Mythology in their marketing.)
