But heres an idea. What if on legendary weapons and other weapons / armor when using the wrong kit it takes a Toll on the items Max durability such as this let take a Legendary weapon… I want to repair it so i go to use a T1 repair kit cool i can repair some but It takes a toll on the weapons max durability down by 30% so instead of 1000 durability its now at max 700. And eventually it will go down to useless or break beyond repair so essential we are extending the life of the weapon but allowing players to choose to repair or wait for a Legendary kit. And just so you know i do not mean that the legendary kit repair the weapon back to its former glory rather not decay it.
Eh, as long as using “the right” level of repair kit (ie, the ones who currently work) doesn’t long-term degrade items, I guess that could be okay. Then it’d be up to you whether you’d want to do it or not.
That a good way to summarized what i wanted to say. but yeah I kinda want that to be a thing for everything so that its flexibity system but built in consequences… Too many games are too straight forward like Nah you cant do that… The beauty of sandbox should be about experiment and freedom. Not within game rules of mechanic being overly strict.
