When DHL launched, the new map was a quarter smaller than the EL. Now, after adding the southern territories, Siptah’s area is almost the same as EL.
This seems to be the general consensus.
In reality Siptah was doomed to mediocrity from its inception. Exiled Lands has over half a decade of development. Siptah has about 9-12 months, and maybe 18 tops. There’s just no way Siptah can compete with Exiled Lands because of that.
One might say they could just continue to support it with new content. But its a $19.99 DLC. It has two building sets and 3 armor sets. Compared to a ‘lite’ DLC That means the map itself is only worth a few dollars itself. It cannot sustain itself. They have also taken a hard stance of not wanting to spend anymore gameplay development on content that is behind a paywall. Its officially a small diversion and designed accordingly.
It depends a lot on your level of expectations. The Exiled Lands are an extremely well-crafted map, with well-defined biomes, fauna, and flora. Everything is very coherent and detailed. On the other hand, Siptah doesn’t bother with maintaining any coherence. It’s a bunch of ideas (some good, some not) thrown onto an island, without much concern about whether something makes sense or not. Everything has a background, but the background was created to justify the mechanics, not the other way around. Siptah gives me the impression that it was created for casual players who don’t engage much with the game and just want to play to pass the time. In contrast to the Exiled Lands, which seems to have been truly made for you to build a life inside and explore places. I abandoned Siptah a long time ago, and I’m not sure if the time I spent there was worth it.
Regarding the pack itself, the armors and constructions alone make the purchase worth every penny.
Siipth have more End game stuff to do then exil lands wher 90 % of the map is low level area ( noob river desert jungel then grassland only endgame on exil land volcano and the ice region ) on siptha its only outside beach the noob area all the rest goes to be more endgame
I’ve always liked Siptah. Love the thrill of fighting Maelstrom monsters, love the beachfront locations, the vaults are cool, and the unique recipes. A lot of really great things to do.

It would be worth it if you could portal between the 2 maps.
One thing I’m missing from Siptah: the “arms crossed” emote. My life isn’t complete without frowning, arms crossed bouncers at my bar door.
