Perhaps it depends from the weapons we use in relation to target lock. Some do AoEs while others allow thrusts so it may be easier to not hit our thralls if we use those that won’t provide so wide AoE attacks.
Give you and your thrall a 2 hander spear. Youll pretty much never hit your thrall.
