Thralls attack EVERYTHING

Thralls now attack EVERYTHING. The health bars for thralls may be back by now the literally attack everything that moves. Rabbits, Gazelles … baby gazelles … foals … tigers cubs … I suppose they’d even attack a tree if they saw a leaf wiggle. EVERYTHING

Good luck catching a pet before your thrall murders it. Also don’t bring one into Sempermenu if you just wanna have brew with Conan. They attack EVERYTHING

I’m really hoping I missed the new not-a-psycho setting for my thrall in the latest patch

you are right, now they do kill EVERYTHING, even these long eared rabbits!!!

My warhorse is a brute, but it never even touch a baby gazelle or a rabbit.

They probably reverted back to attack all. Any of you tried to change their settings to “guard me”?. I would test this myself but I’m in the group of people that still can’t play.

Are we talking about Emberlight rabbits here?

OK I just tested the guard me works perfectly fine, it only attacks if I give command or take damage. So that is all good.

But the other setting says attack all enemies, how is a rabbit or a cub an enemy?

Maybe longeared rabbits are spies in disguise!!

What’s more annoying is that even in PVE-C followers can be ordered to attack other players, and they are immune to damage, so how on earth can you stop an Unstoppable killing machine with the Sword of Crom who takes no damage ?

Thralls now. lol.

Guard me kinda works … but the base thralls are now entirely occupied eradicating the local fauna. I mean rabbits might eat your grain stores … let’s hope they don’t add that mechanic.

Terrible Sig, what do you mean???
May I right now charge a building on my horse with some chance of success?

Don Quichotte de la Mancha on Rossinante with his thrall Sancho Pancha! A fine picture!!

Before yesterday the “Attack All Enemies” setting attacked enemies, just enemies. Rabbits aren’t enemies. They’re neutral. Or, they were until the 6/16 patch of disaster.

Waitaminute … They didn’t add the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch as a legendary drop someplace, did they? Could Caerbannog be a new boss? That might explain why my thrall soils his armor every time he sees a rabbit

The OPs words “Would attack a tree if a leaf wiggled” kinda made me draw this connection. I must admit I needed the laugh myself.

Have you tried to set it it defend you or to attack nothing? see if that works?

That wouldn’t work There’s little point in dragging stupid with me if he attacks nothing. If I have to tell him to attack each of the mob one by one … Might as well do it my self. If I set him to defend me … he runs off to kill Caerbannog instead of the giant alligator … I have to tell him to stop picking on the poor bunnies and kill the actual threat. As long as the monster is damaging me and only if I’m taking damage will the thrall stay focused on an actual enemy

If this is improved AI? Wow really glad they didn’t nerf thralls too … Oh wait!

Well I finally got in game and yes, they all reverted back to attack all, setting them to guard area or guard me solved it for me.

Maybe some of you should try that.

No use. He still chases all the Gazelles near my base. I’ve made his “attack distance” a bit shorter, that’s all. By the way he DIDN’T attack peaceful critters before the last update even with “attack all” setting.

No, all the peaceful critters in the world as well.
