That’s one I’ve had happen, but never been able to reproduce for a proper report. Good job getting the footage
(The only ones I’ve actually been able to recover had fallen through but landed on some of the ‘under the mesh’ leftover terrain. Followers that fell through in an ‘open’ area used to fall and then disappear, requiring rolling back the save to recover them - so I guess that’s a slight improvement. Now if only they could find a way to make the ground actually solid…)
My thralls have fallen under the mesh many times (and that’s why I only leave them standing on the foundations), but pets - never. Thanks, now I’ll know…
I need to file a bug report on my Set priests falling in to the alter. That is consistent to the point of being expected. Once and a while my last following thrall will be in a foundation when I log back in.
But I haven’t had a thrall drop through the mesh since, well when everyone was having the issue ages ago.
I had to turn off living settlements because if i didn’t my thralls would fall through the floors with consistency even when on a foundation every time.
Something about when they went to go to work and began their animation after being away they would just sink and when that did’t happen they would do a start skip animation while at their stations instead.
LS is despicable; the laziness, mediocrity and absolute disregard for their ardent community went on full display with this excrement of an implementation in a new mechanic; I don’t see how it could be worse, other than… well, with Funcom you never know, so I had better hold my tongue; I am sure they can come up with something worse than the unimaginable.
I’ve had this bug too—thralls sinking far below the mesh after being knocked out or moved. Using ghost mode to retrieve them helps short-term, but it keeps happening near cliffs or complex terrain. Funcom really needs to patch this properly. Until then, I avoid dragging thralls through uneven ground and place them only on solid, flat surfaces to be safe.
