Thralls stop attacking when following you and need to get attacked to continue fighting

PVE-C #1518 OFFICIAL (It is the same thing in all servers.)

When my thrall follows me and starts attacking any npc, after each attack, my thrall will “freeze” and will need to receive an attack (damage) to continue attacking.

It is pretty annoying and its been there for a long time.

Other bug: When i tp to the sink hole, my thrall gets fall damage and dies (if low hp). I lose a lvl max dalinsia with good perks this way…

Thank you.

I agree that’s a bug that should have been fixed a long time ago. Your bug report is valid and FunCom should take it seriously.

In the meanwhile, if you don’t mind a suggestion from a fellow player, there is a workaround. Any time you see the thralls being indecisive, immediately target a hostile, tell them to attack and go back to what you were doing. It’s takes some pretty fast key pressing and shouldn’t be necessary, but it may help you.

If this is something you already do then ignore me  I’m only posting this to you because I have known people who didn’t know how well this works.

Thank you! I tried and it doesnt work for me, at least most of the time… hopefully they will patch it one day:)

Have you tried setting the thralls behavior to aggressive instead of defensive? So they attack enemies instead of getting attacked first.

It’s useless, because whether it is active or passive, there is a problem with the system. As mentioned at the beginning, the thrall will not fight back until it is attacked, or it will only attack the next enemy after the current enemy dies.

Exactly! I tried every setting I could think of…

It doesn’t change anything. Even if I manually ask the thrall to attack, he simply does nothing or wait to get attacked to eventually attack…

My work around is to either drag my attacker to the thrall to let them get hit, or order them to stand in the area/spot so as get some aggro, then they will defend themselves

Also, opening up thrall inventory and picking up and dropping thier weapon resets them

That’s a good idea, thanks!

I think the thralls become “sleepy” when you put them on a chair or something and then make them follow you… It will take a server restart or a while for them to go back to their “normal behaviour”…
