Bug Description:
Thralls freeze after one attack/combo
Bug Reproduction:
- Log into Official Server
- Set any thrall to follow
- Engage any enemy
- Thrall will make one attack/combo and then freeze in place until they take damage, the aggro’d mob dies/loses aggro, or you move out of range and they ‘follow’.
I have tested this with several weapon types (2H swords, 2H hammers, 1H maces, daggers, claws/chakrams, etc) and it is the same for all.
Please note: you will not notice this bug if the thrall is constantly taking damage, since it “resets” when they take damage. It is most easily reproduced by fighting a boss mob alongside your thrall. You will typically pull aggro from the boss, and your thrall will just stand there after it’s first attack cycle completely frozen until they take damage.
This used to be a known issue with thralls and shields: it was common knowledge not to equip thralls with shields or they would go unresponsive until they took damage. Now you have somehow managed to propagate this behaviour to all weapons.
Next to the dropping through buildings bug this is probably the biggest bug affecting players right now and it’s alarming that it has not been acknowledged in any of the Funcom “known issues” posts. It makes thralls next to useless. Perhaps before “revamping thralls” and nerfing them into the ground again you could fix these glaring issues.
