For those of you who haven’t seen it yet. The Longest Journey HD mod can be found here. It includes:

  • neural network upscaled backgrounds and sprites
  • upscaled in-game videos
  • improved shadows
  • anti-aliasing
  • redrawn user interface
  • and a lot of other small improvements

Just tried this and WOW! This is truly AMAZING! I can’t believe how good this looks!! Thank you SO much. This is SO GOOD that it should be sold to Funcom and have them use it to remaster TLJ into an official release! WOW!

Wow, amazing! Will it ever be possible to update the 3D assets of the game?

Even Funcom no longer has access to those. I’m afraid that’s impossible. Short of a full remake of course.

Is it me or it looks like a painting, especially during the FMVs

That’s awesome! Excited to see the improvements and how it enhances the experience of The Last Jedi. Can’t wait to try it out!
