I was designing a new building that utilizes triangle piece, then I realize that it wouldn’t work due to stability. The problem is that the stability is reduce the same for both square and triangle pieces. This is a problem because of the average radius of the pieces are not the same. This would ensure that any building that uses a pattern with triangles will require more support than that of a square which means square pieces will always cost less resource than triangles. If playing competitively, only use square.
I recommend changing all triangle pieces to reduce stability by 13 since the average radius of the triangles is about 65.80% less than the average radius of the squares if both have sides of same length. If triangles reduce stability by 13, then if you were to build out using just triangles, it would be about the same distance as squares.
I hope that is isn’t a hard adjustment, but it would make building more interesting with more possibilities.
