Turanian Bazaar Expension Set is broken

We can’t snap rounded turanian walls to rounded ceiling. They can only be snapped to full square ones, thus defeating the point of using rounded ones.

Pillars (smaller ones) can’t be easily placed to make a bigger pillar, especially on console.

L shaped stairs make the wall next to them force to one direction.

L shaped stairs are very hard to place right. There are some limitations to them like putting them next to rounded pieces.

there is also a lack of inverted wedge roof pieces for the tent pieces
also a bit lackluster on the vaulted ceilings as we only got a corner and nothing more.
such a good set, if we only got the bugged pieces fixed and added the “missing” pieces.

Problems with this set

  1. there is no roof cap for it
  2. Window in hammer menu shows up like doors
  3. Those round corners not snapping normally
  4. Round corners cant be placed on round ceilings
  5. they look like wedding cake in general xD
  6. Could have add round fence also for those ceilings - they just look soo unfinished…

They definitely can be snapped in, you have to spin them when you are trying to place.

My bad. I should have specified that it happens with rounded flat ceilings.

The snapping is very hard on console I got there in the end but way to awkward for my liking

Try flat ones not roof 1/4 caps he meant that need square ceilings or foundations to place walls while u cant snap them to round ceilings

Like when u place ceiling to decorate with fence those round ones not snapping on ceiling - only if there is square ceiling and then u have ugly triang-le showing up… in general this turanian set should have get not square foundation but round foundation that also snaps to wall and fence to snap round … this expansion is more less like unfinished, and good looking is only those roofs that fits with already cube style but if u try to fit round its just UGLY

Also question to mods  Why the he** word Triang-le is on bot blacklist?

This one thinks @Eradicati0n may have summed it up best:

It’s worth noting before someone purchases.

One thing I like is the new 4 piece pillars can be placed on the corners and not the middle.

You can also use it as an accent piece in an indented corner

Those will be sold separately - better keep your wallet ready. :muscle:t3: :moneybag:

All of his points are valid, but the glitches are more frustration and patience then being broken. He was still able to get the pieces to finally snap, it just was not happening like the normal building process. For 9.99 US, I think the set is still worth it.
Since this is Funcom’s first delve into round and semi round building pieces, not surprised there are bugs, and would expect them to iron out these issues AND add the missing pieces also.

I disagree. Having to flounder around for 5 minutes/break half your structure for pieces to snap in a logical way is totally broken. Just because the community finds insane ways around building them does not mean we should accept it as is. We’re paying them $10 for inadequacy.

It’s like if I tried selling someone a table with several missing legs and told them they just need to prop it up with books and it’s totally worth it because it’s my first time making a table.

they are snapping there because the wall, i was able to do it too, but on the base, i could not, you have to has a square base. I placed pilars on the ground and made a circle with the new rounded ceiling, and could not snap the curved walls to it, only in the square ones.

This is very valid that it is their first official foray into these types of pieces. This one is trying to avoid their usual knicker knot over such matters and be more patient. Because, honestly, this one would like to see more rounded pieces, and doesn’t want to kick someone for putting out an initial offering that has a hiccup or two. When experimenting with what are basically new snap points rough starts are not unreasonable.

While respecting that the value may be entirely reasonable for others, this one personally finds those couple of missing pieces (why no inverted wedge roof?) in addition to the awkwardness of building with it pushes it just a bit out of what this one would spend. That’s a personal call, not some spurious and fallacious claim of objective value. The frustration factor is basically the hanging point. That feeling of this grand build design, just out of reach for lack of two matching pieces, or the notation that the sometimes meditative build process will instead be a bit more combative, not this one’s fun times. Like trying to place the inverted sloped walls for bay windows before the update, what was it, a year ago or so when they adjusted the snap points on those? Regardless.
If the either the jank gets ironed out or a piece or two added (this one rarely expects additional pieces to be added post facto, but one can hope) then those Crom Coins are as good as spent.

The set is gorgeous. Downright beautiful.
The corner stairs are always good and these look a step closer to rounded. The tent look is something this one has long desired in a less rustic form than flotsam. The round corners and corner pillars (yes this one knows the pillar trick) are extremely welcome. Lavish. Civilization, ancient and wicked, in all it’s decadence. Even with the points of consternation this one is still sorely tempted.
