I think they need buff defensive to make certain offensive useable.
First defensive is archers right now they are a joke.
They need them bee 100% accurate and hit a lot harder.
Two purposes rams had brake weak point of door vs stone wall. This would not be great design for Conan since most doors be off ground for most of time.
Second reasons to provide cover against archers this would be ideal.
Scorpions and calderas would be counter
Unhorsing yeahhhh! Ballistas could be the part of it too!
And a wild dream for us single players: some enemy should have a chance to spawn on horses, so we can utilise those weapons even more.
3.0 will be sorcery. And when it comes, it will be OP and unbalanced in PvP.
They made it clear it will not be sorcery.
When it does come, I don’t think it will be that OP, but I do think it will totally upset whatever the PvP meta happens to be at that time - which I, in no way, think is a bad thing. PvP should gets its meta flipped from time to time. Having an eternally unchanging meta is the worst possible outcome.
I noticed that when they announced the ballista that the trebuchet base is now labeled siege base. So as of April 2 2024 we will have battering ram, a ballista and a trebuchet I wonder what is in store for the future of Conan exiles?
