Two questions about social outfits

Hi,

I’m returning on the game after years and I have two questions about social armors

1 Would someone happen to have pictures of the outfits sold by gilding vendors on their characters ? I would like to see (I found some blogs about vanity clothing but they seldom show gilding ones)

2 Are there any good robe skin for male priest of Mitra character ? I’m asking for my husband, who plays with me with a PoM. I saw some nice robe with hood on an high level character but I don’t know what it was…

Thanks for reading !

I sadly can’t show any pictures of the gilding token sets as I don’t have any of them (or maybe I do but on locked characters, I am not sure), maybe someone else has pictures of these sets.

The robe you saw might have been a level ~70 world drop robe that also drops in some more places (Atzels Fortress etc.), they come in different colors like red-purple, blue-light blue and I think even purple.
(Here is a picture of the red-purple one: https://www.deviantart.com/tulx/art/Demonolgist-dungeon-armour-set-214708885)
It could also be the level ~40 world drop robe that you can farm in epic Field of the Dead rather fast.
(Here is a picture of it: https://cynarablog.files.wordpress.com/2012/07/small-darkember-helm-front.jpg?w=595)
There is also the PoM T1 - T3 sets but they don’t have a hood but more of a helmet (Picture of the T3 set: https://www.deviantart.com/tulx/art/Priest-of-Mitra-Tier-3-armour-214597437)
There are some more robe-like outfits like from the guild city you can buy a vanity armor set at a certain renown rank that kind of resembles a roman toga (on a male character). The visual difference between the T1, T2 and T3 set is that the higher the tier of the armor the more “details” it has attached to it. So if you want a more simple style you might wanna go for the T2 or even T1 set.

You could also try to mix and match items from several sets, white robe stuff drops from the bosses in Ardashir Fortress but that’s a high level endgame dungeon. Try looking at this site: http://aoc.is-better-than.tv/armory.php, you can’t see pictures of items directly worn by characters but you can at least see what kind of resembles robes (in the item icon) and then see where it drops. Search for “light aquilonia” for example and you will find all light armor drops from all dungeons in Aquilonia.

Thanks for your help for the robes ! Really there are several that suits what he want

Now if someone has some of the gilding outfits on their characters I’m still interested to see !

Here is a thread with some links:

I also do not know a source with all gilding tokens vanity. If i remember correctly most of the gilding vendor stuff is from the old version of the item shop, when those sets and solo pieces were sold for a very few funcom points.
But I am with Cynara on this one: Gilding tokens have a very high amount of value if you take real money as a measurement. You get them painfully slowly ingame, and if you buy boxes in the item shop to get them…that makes a vanity piece super super expensive. I would advise you to first look for vanity you can find ingame befor you go on the high cost journy of collecting gilding vendor stuff.

Hello! Now the funny thing is I was in your exact position two days ago and trawling through the interwebs to find some preview before I spent those hard-earned gilding tokens.

In the end I thought, screw it, and just bought two sets out of sheer curiosity as to how they looked. Would be remiss if I didn’t do my part for the community and share what they look like, so here!

hyrkanianscout
Hyrkanian Scout set - 4 pieces (chest, belt, shoulders and wrist)

conanblademaster
Conan Blademaster set - 4 pieces (chest, belt, legs and boots)

That’s all I have, hopefully others can share theirs too. There’s a precious few others from around the internet:

Imgur
Has three more sets

And finally this little gem of a blog: https://ageofconangallery.blogspot.com/?m=0
Has quite a few, just have to scroll loads. Mostly normal game stuff but you can find some of the gilding outfits looking under the “social” tag.

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much all ! I’m very glad I could see pictures, and while I agree they can be expensive, I have some gilding coins and would like to save them for some armor that I like. The vanir armor I know how it looks because I had it from the cash shop way before. The hyrkanian scout looks nice !
If anyone has more to share, please do so, since I’m not the one interested
