Two weeks is all we get?

Hi, resident blindly loyal fanboy Jimbo here.

This latest decision is terrible

Removing the Sacred Hunt after a mere two weeks being active? It’s supposed to be the focal point of this update, it’s the content for this chapter. I could understand it being seasonal content and would be removed at the end of the chapter much like the headhunting was removed during Age of Sorcery, but two weeks?!?

Granted, the announcement post does say that it will return later in the chapter, but in that case why remove it at all? What was the decision behind this?

Especially since it’s already been pointed out that the event is a massive time sink to get everything and now there isn’t even enough time to do it.

If there’s an issue with it that it needs to be pulled temporarily to fix, I could understand that but for once I’m going to side with the people here and say we need transparency on that. Once it’s removed, then what? That was the content feature of this entire update, once it’s gone then there’s nothing left besides fixes and tweaks.

We need answers.

Yep. I got 340 saved up. I was going to grind this all down and get the werehyena as a gift but now…I don’t believe I can get it all so now I need to prioritize since there is precedent on how long “temporary” measures are removed.

Wait, what?! Where was this posted? I haven’t even started doing the event yet with all the bugs.

Technically in the launcher.

Seems that fixing that werehyena invisibility bug is a more involved process than expected…

They are invisible? I though they were clear as day and thralls were just to f-ing stupid to fight back against them? I mean, I always saw them when they attacked me, yet my thralls just stood there and let them nibble away at their legs until I killed them. :woman_shrugging:

Nothing aggros on them.

Same with the Werehyena follower.

But that’s getting resolved on this hotfix which is earlier than the 15th end date.

This is another one of those WTF moments that doesn’t make any sense.

And of coarse 0 explanation.
There I thought we’d turned some corner with the return of most of the menu UI functionality.

I’m sure as hell not wasting any more time on it

The fact that nothing has come back to us even after flagging is telling me they are drafting a corporate response.

Nevermind. Corporate response out already.

some, but certainly not most.

“Since this is fairly new to Conan Exiles, we will be listening closely to your feedback on all our channels. Please also make sure to respond to our regular player surveys, since we are very interested in hearing your detailed thoughts on new content such as this. Combined with our in-game telemetry, we believe this will serve as a great guide on how to steer future content like this”.

My thought is the hunt will be turned in to a mid chapter event to get people back in to the game after they finish the battle pass that chapter.

It’s all about the player count.

What hasn’t?

I’m confused. It’s only posted on steam. Plus, there’s this:

“The Sacred Hunt Event will take place from 2 – 15 April.

Fret not if you cannot join the hunt right away, as the opportunity to prove your worth to Jhebbal Sag will return soon, in Chapter 4. When that time comes, we will share the full dates.”

Why does it say it like this is only a test server thing, and like chapter 4 isn’t out yet? Something doesn’t add up here.

Just oddly worded.

This hunt ends on the 15 and will comeback probably with the next hot fix with some bugs fixes.

Sorry @Jimbo I did not see you thread when I generated mine. Perhaps a CM will merge them for us.

Completely, unequivocally agree with you. WAY TOO SHORT! Some of us have a life outside of video games.

I haven’t even started the hunt yet. And probably won’t even bother at this rate. Is Funcom really raising FOMO even for in-game gameplay? Are they going to keep creating quick events in the game so players are constantly scrambling to get items?

I was still planning with my wife a way to raid Al-Merayah to access the secret chamber. We had just found a nearby spot to position a trebuchet to try to knock down one of the walls. Imagine how long it would take me to complete the entire event. Glad I saw this post in time to abort the mission.

That though also crossed my mind too @donbzm, 1 or 2 years ago I would have said not a chance, and would probably be arguing with members who would suggest such a thing. But nowadays…sadly I would not put it past them. :disappointed_relieved:
