I have spotted something with regard to the UI changes which was drawn to the attention of the devs, but was not corrected with the most recent Hotfix released on 24/5/2024. This one concerns Thrall inventory, more specifically their weapon and armor slots on the far right of the thrall inventory screen.
Please bear with me as I do my best to explain and articulate this in a sensical way. So prior to the UI changes in Chapter 4, we used to be able to however the cursor over a Thralls currently equipped armor, or weapon if it was equipped at the time. It was then possible to simply R2 button to ‘Take Item’, allowing us to quickly take the item from them and return it to our own inventory. However, since Chapter 4 this item has been removed, leaving us instead with 2 equally annoying alternatives. 1) scroll over to the thralls equipped items, press X on the item in question, move the item back to a blank tile in our inventory, then press X again to put it down, aka- drag and drop 2) or press L2 to take EVERYTHING out of the thralls items, including weapon, armor, arrows, food, aloe potions, loot, all at once. But then we have to put the other items back. The Hotfix did not revert/corret the QoL issue.
This is very frustrating, and a regression of the old pre-Chapter 4 system. It used to be simpler: put the cursor on the item we wanted to give or take then press R2. That was it. Funcom this is makes equipping new items a pain and takes away from QoL. Please change it back to how it was before Chapter 4.
