Bug Description:

If you spec into Expertise to the first perk, where your tools lose half their durability. So you can lower their durability 0.5, which is stil usable for one hit, but you can not repair despite the fact that it’s not greyed out, not broken, still usable. The map and building mod do not affect it as far as I know, they do not change the data of weapons/tools Savage Wilds only makes the IoS gear available on the map. GCAM adds additional building pieces/options.

Bug Reproduction:

1: Spend 5 points in Expertie to the first perk (Survivalist)
2: Get any tool, and harvest with it until it reaches 0.5 durability.
3: Actually DO NOT use to that point, you can not repair it unless you have the mats. Otherwise, even legendary repair kits won’t repair.

Not trying to derail your topic, but how do you obtain The Pecker?

I believe you find it with a three-skull Jhil boss in the north-west of the Savage Wilds map (behind a door and then a steep climb).
I am mistaken, you are talking about a tool, I was talking about a weapon with a similar name, sorry.

The Survivalist perk isn’t necessary to proc this issue, just a durability <1. I’ve reported it and it should be resolved in an upcoming patch :+1:

Always thought this was intended. You can’t repair broken items with kits and less than 1 is about as broken as it gets.

It’s the same for weapons. Had this with Musashi’s Black Blade.
