The answer is, as indicated in the headline, I did not receive a ban for Crom Coin fraud.
So, this is progress. Finally.
I would class not banning folks for bad code is the biggest and best update of 2025.

Checked yesterday and I’m still ok. The sale is still ongoing though no?
The current sale has ended. The day it ends was, traditionally, the time bans went into effect.
It seems they have, finally, fixed the code rather than requiring players to appeal Funcom’s error.
EDIT:
Just saw a post that reported a ban upon purchasing with discounted coins. I will continue to monitor the issue.
On psn it still shows like there’s a sale. Am I bugging? Am I seeing things wrong? Idk
Well I bought some Crom Coins yesterday and tried using them in the store and now I am banned.
