How long have false -CromCoin bans taken to be lifted (If any have)?

Hey im new to the forums but had to make an acc to ask this ay.

Im seeing a lot of people still posting that they are getting banned/have been banned from this bug, but have any players had this false ban actually lifted from them after the recent negative crom coin bug? I Haven’t seen anyone post confirming that their false ban has been lifted

Pouring one out for my fellow -CromCoin homies ong, hang in their champions

I am going past 10 hours since I sent a ticket to both HELP in the game to challenge the ban and the ZenDesk for an in-game purchase issue. Outside of the acknowledgement from both ticket systems immediately after submitting the ticket, I have not heard anything and I am stilled banned due to crom coins. If asked I am not providing any proof of purchase since they have that information. To be honest, at this point (which has been a long time coming) I doubt I will play the game very much anymore.

I have purchased every DLC, every BattlePass, every Bazaar item and these updates constantly screw up the base game. I have around 10K hours in the game (far more than any other game, which is about 300 hours), but I think it is time to call it quits.

It’s been 12 hours for me and nothing has changed. I’ve received no response to my tickets other than the original auto-generated ones.

I primarily play single player, so I’ve turned off my wifi to be able to continue playing, but obviously any bazaar or battle pass items are not usable or craftable. Still better than not being able to get into the game at all.

I do want to make the point of expressing disappointment with the lack of communication from Funcom. I’ve always been a fan of AndyB from the livestreams and updates. He seemed like a person who is really engaged in the community, but aside from 2 lamely generic posts telling us to submit tickets, he’s been largely silent. His literal title is community manager, but we’ve heard nothing from him that I wouldn’t have expected the entry level help desk guy at my firm to be able to put out publicly. Really disappointing. If it was a new product they wanted to sell, they’d be knocking at our physical location doors, but they’ve left us to figure things out on our own or from other sources in our community.

12 hours for me and still the same. I’ve only received the generic auto-response email and that’s it.

Judging by the little replies, may not be much of a stretch to assume no ones been unbanned yet through their appeal, almost a day later

Some people in the other topic report they had some “lefting of the ban” for a brief moment, for it to take hold short after. Idk if that is true.

What I know to be true is that I have 3 tickets 12, 14 and 16 hours old that have not been answered.

I sent one in the “rage” and forgot to change the issue, and then sent another from the interface, and someone said we should instead send it directly from the website for better handling.

None of them were answerd or aknowledge at the moment.

And I have pointed out, as many did, and I encourage everyone to do so, when the problem was people not being able to buy things in the bazaar, the problem was solved in a few hours.
Simpler problem ? Maybe. Sure it is not “more important” to the player.

Massive amounts of players being banned does have an effect on players being able to buy something (Battlepass or Bazaar), although I admit not the the extent of no players being able to buy. It seems that a lot of the players that were banned are/were high-spenders based on the amount of crom coins that Funcom was demanding as payment to be allowed back into the game.

Yes, that is true, but it is because there is a problem with a sales they had. I am an accountant so I am used to reflex check these things.

The value is precisely the amount I bought from the sales “last time” and started to rise as it then started to track “even further past” transactions. But to the extent of the “sales” prices difference.

But, again, workaround:

Use a VPN or firewall to prevent the game from connecting to the internet when you start the game.
It will allow you to play solo. But wont connect to the bazaar.

After you started playing solo to confirm you can, go back to main menu and try to play online. It will prompt you to retry. When you do, it will connect to the net but not to the Bazaar, so it will allow you to play online.

Next time you start the game, you will have to do it again, unfortunately, or it will “show banned” again.

Unfortunately, if you have to restart the game to join the server, you will have to do it twice, other wise, if no mods or you set up your game the same exact as the server, you join.

Around 19h from make zendesk ticket and still banned.

Same here, 18h!!!

16 hours, for me.

18 hours, nothing has been done, just got a random auto-response email, the only “improvement” is that the debt did not increase further (again).

17hours here - still no reply…

I am certain they will have thousands of tickets which is why it’s taking a long time.

What I just cannot understand is, why on earth would they be doing this on a case by case basis?

Unban everyone, then go and find all the players that had a legitimate ban and re-ban them…!

I guess You right, especially when probally only one person handle this tickets becasue other are on holiday vacation, and weekend break is after corner.

If that was the case, after all this time a lot of people would have reported theirs being solved.

I am not seeing any, not here, and not among people in my list on steam or discord.

So I dont believe that is the thing.

I think you are absolutely right!

@KorgFoehammer I tried your workaround, but It won’t help. When I try to connect on server, I get “Authentication failed” message and end up in the main menu again.

Also won’t let me play in Single player either, I get stuck with “checking permission” loading tab.

I do think its 100%, the thing that thousands got hit by this, I have heard of people getting unbanned, and know one person that they actually did fix them. Within 2 hours time. So yeah funcom is doing it. But given like how many peoples got effected, i suspect it will take some time. But its so annoying and I hope that today that mine gets fixed along with others that I know and everyone here. I can indeed seem to confirm kind of by seeing other peoples ticket numbers compared to my own that its a very large gap of people. At least i think 2000/3000 people or more.

turn off your internet and then launch the game. That is the fix for single player. Turn internet back on after inside the game. So you can access singleplayer you just cannot do online server joining.
