UPDATED 2: Decay Timers - Buildings Jan 27, Thralls Jan 31

I understand being irritated at not knowing what the rules should be since it changed but that’s not a bait and switch, especially since those just apply to official servers and are subject to change whenever and you can choose to play on a variety of different servers with different settings to suit your preferences.

And also for an online game, it’s “prime time” for someone at every hour of the day. When the rules get changed, someone is going to be on unless you bring the servers completely down for a setting change which would then also interrupt game time for someone.

25th and pve-c 1036 still on normal timer, good job!

25th and PVP server 1102,1127 and 6050 still have 240h decay timer. Timer never changed to holiday 480h. Siptah PVP 6001 server is in PVE section but has 480h decay imer. Server configurations are a mess. None of the servers i play on has correct configuration.
Not to mention PVP raid time for some servers says to be 18:00-23:00 local but it is active from 19:00-00:00 witch lead many to confusion when they start raiding at 18:00 and waist their explosive or leave too early and raid time is still active.

It’s honest to God impressive how almost purposefully the team is avoiding the actual issues of the game and just settled for quick fixes like this to make as a grandstanding after MONTHS of failures.

Grow a back bone and tell Tencent off. This game was fantastic. Keyword = was.

I disagree. This is pretty much SOP for funcom with any of their games. this is just how funcom functions. Dune will be no different. This game was, never, at any time, fantastic. Best I’d ever give it was a very good.

Not saying it hasn’t gotten markedly worse since tencent bought in, but I think that was more time constraints then anything else; although the latest age sort of punched a hole in that excuse. None the less, take a company already doing a less the great job of development and rush them to a dead line. Now watch the fails fall all over each other.

Now lets make it worse by ■■■■■■■■ up simple server settings, not seem to do anything to fix anything, then ignore the player base and watch long term hard core Conan players quit.

Hey there Exiles, we’ll be keeping holiday decay settings for a few more weeks. Building decay timers will go back to their normal setting on January 24th, and Thrall decay timers will go back to their normal setting on January 31st.

Lol they just don’t care anymore.
Half the server timer werent changed properly.
Hacks are still rampant.
Zero communications.

Meanwhile, Exiles #5122 never even got the initial decay timer adjustment. It’s been the usual timer.

if this was something related to dune you would probably get at least 2 or 3 funcom reps with responses ! and jokes and evertyijng.

We’ve let ops know about looking into servers that may not have had their timers updated. Will let you know when I know more.

We’re moving decay timers for buildings to the morning of Jan 27th (8am UTC / 3am EST).

Yet official server 1049 message of the day (just logged in): “decay timers will revert to 10 days on 21 Jan 21” …

Still having cobwebs Andy. Sacred Hunt is gone as of Jan. 27, but the decay timers are still at 480 hours except for those servers where the hours never changed.

probably they will still 480 til server reset and tomorrow will be back to 240.
